Heavy on the black tea, light on the spices imo
The tea looks, smells, and tastes very fresh and very high quality. The storage bag is exceptionally user-friendly compared to those provided by other companies. It smells rich in masala chai spices. To my tastebuds, the proportion of the spices needs to be much greater relative to the black tea. Maybe some other people like it with those proportions. It's called chai, not masala chai, so maybe the producer doesn't intend it to be as spicy. I'll add my own spices to max out the spice level.

Great if you like Ceylon and not craving Assam- But seems good quality overall
Its hard to find a strong Assam but recommend seeking it and maybe mixing it with this for you Chai along with some added spices. Taste more like Ceylon black types which do have stronger flavor. But its less expensive to get this strong black than it in an Assam. Still nicely done- I'll need to get some assam to mix it up with and added more spice for chai masala taste.

Good but huge price jump
This tea is good but big recent price increase.I bought this tea 3 weeks ago for $19.35. The price now is $25.25. I am very much starting to feel that sellers (not just on Amazon but everywhere) are now milking the recent inflation. I highly doubt the cost of producing this tea just rose 30% in 3 weeks.

Amazing aroma and taste! 1lb goes a long way!
The smell is amazing and the tastes just the way you think it will, not like the other teas that have a strong smell but no taste. This tea is the ideal for all teas. 1lb goes a long way. Even with 2 cups of tea a day, I've barely gone through 1/2 of the bag in a month.

Flavorful enough, acceptable, not looseleaf.
Flavor was acceptable, but I added other tidbits to increase my enjoyment. This is more of a loose ground tea, not true looseleaf tea where the leaf opens and unfolds releasing flavor. The spices are ok, but not as much as I prefer...which is much more spicy.

No better chai.
That's it. There is no better chai. I am a long time chai fan. I drink this one most days. Sometime others, but this one is my favorite and has been for years.

Bliss in a teacup
I used to drink Chai tea at Starbucks until a dear friend of mine introduced me to real Chai, since then I have NEVER looked back. I have been looking for the perfect Chai and I think I found it! When you steep it the fragrance fills the kitchen and it is so lovely. It brews up quite dark and it can be just a hint peppery.I drink it with a touch of milk.It is lovely.

Tastes great
My husband loves this stuff. So happy were going out in a larger container. Our local international market quit carrying it.
