Handmade Maple Wood Sunglasses - Polarized UV400 Lenses in a Wooden Wayfarer that Floats!

These are amazing in quality and looks. I love that these are handmade and the company plants 5 trees per every pair sold. These look just like the pictures show. They came nicely packaged and well protected. I was unsure if I would like them but I love them, they are unlike anything I have had before wth sunglasses. Mine waigh one ounce. Very light and very comfortable.UPDATE: 11/29/18I just repurchased this pair of shades. I accidentally sat on my original pair and it cracked the wood on both sides of the upper rims. I was so upset I use these often! I had the first pair over a year with no problems. These are awesome just don't sit on them. They are surdy but not unbreakable. Treat them with care.

A very well made pair if sunglasses. I am pleasantly surprised on how nice these glasses are, they're tastefully stylish with color accents in the inner part of the frame and the etching on the arms are very nice and not over done. I bought 4 pair of different sunglasses at the time of purchase and so far these are at the top of my list. But the true test, the test of durability is still the question. From first appearance they seem like they may with-stand the typical wear and tear but time is the true deciding factor for this test. So I will update this post for the first few months logging any changes. But as of now the first few days have been very nice and has made me a big fan of these hammockable sunglasses

I bought these for my fiancé as a birthday present at the beginning of June, and they did not last long. He loved the look, the feel, and the motive of the company behind the sunglasses, but unfortunately, they broke within a week of him using them. He was taking good care of them and kept them on some croakies around his neck because I told him some reviews said they were fragile. A friend gave him a big hug when we moved back to his hometown annnnnd crack the frame split and the ear frame part broke at the screw. I really wanted my fiancé to have a nice pair of sunglasses to use to for a year or two, but the durability was just not there with this pair.

These are probably the coolest sunglasses I’ve ever owned. Comfortable, lightweight, and they look great. However, the etching on the side of the seed of life version is cut all the way through the outer layer and as a result weakens them. Mine broke in about a week, and I’m not even sure how- I just found them broken. I would recommend buying a version that is not laser engraved and you’ll be very happy with these sunglasses!Updated to 5 stars because the company replaced them with a non-etched version. I absolutely love this company and they were incredibly easy, pleasant to deal with. So far, I do not have any concerns with breaking the new pair and they are beautiful sunglasses. I can't stress that enough!

Love these glasses but one of the hinges is lower on one side making it look funny with one arm not flush with the top of the eye piece part and makes it fit just a little crooked... I dont want to go through the hassle of returning through amazon. I will update if I get ahold of the company.... These glasses are REALLY beautiful just sad that a misplaced hing messed it up for me.Update 7/6/2020These sunglasses are absolute trash... I havent even used them but a couple times and the hinge is breaking free from the wood making them unusable. They now fall off your face. ALSO the wood near the front of the glasses is all raised up and lost most color... For the price of these glasses this SHOULD NOT be happening. No response from seller.

These are awesome sunglasses, I just love them! The quality of the wood is amazing. I wish there was a bigger size, I have a big nose. My eye's need to get use to them because they feel funny. That being said I'm still very happy with my purchase. I'm going on a curise to Mexico this month, these will come in handy.Update: I ended up returning these and exchange them for the black maple. I really did like them, but I think the brown tint of the lenses didn't agree with my eyes.

I love these glasses. They are a little big, so if you have a tiny head I'm not sure they will fit. I have a big head, and if I bend forward I have to be careful they don't fall off. The color of the wood is nice, although in retrospect I might have gotten the lighter maple instead.is nice. They seem to be well made, and the color detailing on the sides is lovely. Kind gives it a rasta look. The color of the lens is wonderful...like an orangey type of light comes through which is pleasant (better than that gloomy grey some glasses have). They come with a nice wooden circular case, and a cute sticker. Overall I would highly recommend these (again, unless you have a really tiny head;)

I absolutely love these glasses. The quality, look, packaging and price were perfection. The only deal breaker was that they are tiny!!! Both my husband and I have quite "normal" sized heads and the glasses just did not fit comfortably on either of us. The ended up with my pre-teen-and they look great. I even checked to make sure I didn't accidently order a kids size. Would order again, but not for an adult.
