Bilt Hamber Deox-C Concentrated Rust Remover 1KG

This really works. It’s quick, non toxic and extremely easy to apply. It’s been wiping rust off some neglected tools and parts for me, and the results are little short of amazing after as little as a 30 min immersion. I wish I’d thought to take “before” pictures, because the “after” pictures would mean very little without them. They merely look new. Excellent stuff, and goes a long way.

This is an excellent, no oder safe to us and dispose of and it reiley dose work. Very good at removing surface rust from cast iron and steel. Best rust remover I have used and I'v tried a few. Takes about 24 hores for best resuls. One of the rear products that lives up to clames. Recormended.

Works well

I used this to de-rust the outside of a 2-stroke tuned exhaust pipe. Ordinarily I would have used phosphoric acid, but it's increasingly hard to acquire. The bit I liked with this stuff is that it makes up to 20 litres. Because of the shape of the pipe I had to do it in four immersions. This I managed with keeping it to 7.5 litres (more would have been pointless because of the size/shape. Used just boiled kettle water to dissolve and added into the plastic crate wit the exhaust in (with ends sealed up). Once I had 7.5 litres in I used plastic bottles filled with water and sealed, lowered into the crate to displace the solution and bring the level up. Left it overnight and bingo! the whole surface wiped back to clean, shiny steel. No grotty odours as you get with phosphoric acid and decanted into empty 5 litre screenwash bottles for later use. Seriously impressed and recommend highly.

Now, this is a really great product for getting rid of surface to mild rust (have yet to try it on some badly rusted parts) I like to deep clean/restore bikes and this stuff does it without issue and safely every time. Pay attention to the instructions (heating the solution really helps) and you’ll be OK (and rust free)
