A super solution to provide a water supply from 5 gallon pure water bottles
Super value for the money if you goal is to provide easier access to bottled water than a traditional water cooler. This system is simple, pretty easy to install and so far works well. There can be issues with the shut off valves in the bottle wands- if they don’t close completely when the bottle empties the pump may continue to run sucking air. I make sure to periodically knock the bottoms of the wands where the float valves are against the bottle bottoms. Especially when changing to new full water bottles from empties. Special note: like me you may wish to locate the actual five gallon bottles remotely from the pump and output supply line to your faucet or ice maker. If so that’s likely to require that you extend the 1/2” ID line from the pump to the bottles location. The line supplied in the kit is high quality hose that does not impart taste or odor to water passing through it. I found out aftermarket hose from hardware stores may not be the same. Even if advertised as drinking or potable water safe it may add undesirable taste or odor to what comes out your faucet. Especially if it sits in the line more than a few hours. The answer for me has been to buy the hose needed from a marine supply store. Hose that is specifically labeled for potable water. Since most boats use hoses to supply fresh water from storage to faucet this is a common need. And those hoses are expected to be perfect. And so far they have been. It’s worth the extra cost per foot the marine supply (West Marine in my case) charges over what the hardware store charges since you will get the hose you really need. Use the plastic hose barbs also at marine supply to connect your new hose to the hose supplied with this kit. Like the hose they impart no taste. Make sure to clamp them with stainless hose clamps. Even small air leaks will cause your pump to loose prime because of air pockets in the hose.

Working fine with RO system
My RO system output pressure is low so I added this to give it a boost to serve counter-top faucet and refrigerator ice and water chiller. So far, so good! It uses standard poly fittings and connects easily, in from under-cabinet RO and out to a tee to fridge and faucet. It kicks on for a few seconds when using the faucet or in-fridge chilled water dispenser but once pressure is up it switches off; the sound is negligible. With RO there's no need for the in-fridge water filter.

Water pump
Works good, allows me to run the ice maker and water dispenser in a refrigerator in my garage where there is no water service.

As described, would recommend
As described, works as it should. We use bottled water for consumption as we have hard water here. My fridge has dual ice makers in it and requires 50 psi to be able to feed the water cooler function and ice makers. This solved the issue. It's automatic and kicks on and off when it needs to, works as it should, overall good product and happy so far at 2 months in to service. Would buy again and would recommend it. Slightly loud but it only kicks on for a few seconds here and there and that would be just the way I have it mounted. Its in a cabinet next to the refrigerator so I could hide the water bottle. I'm sure if it was a more solid mounting area it would be far.less noticeable.

18 Months and Dead
I bought this to replace a 12 year old FlowJet 1000. If I didn't know better, this was a Flowjet. The screw hole mountings are identical to the FlowJet. So were the plumbing supply fittings. While the FJ was old, this seems to have more pressure, less pulsing and is a little bit quieter. I live alone. So it is only me using it for water to my ice maker and water in the door to my fridge. For 18 months, it served me well. I changed the tank as I normally do and came back about an hour later to hear it running. Only this time, it didn't turn off as it had lost its prime and was unable to activate the pressure switch. I did a few things like hold the 5 gallon jug of water above it and turning the jug on its side to force water down the tubing. Nothing worked, so I primed it using the tap water and forcing water into the line. Problem solved, correct? Nope. The next AM there was a puddle of water on the floor. The pump had developed a leak. I took it apart thinking it was a clamp or something. Nope. The casing of the pump literally cracked on its own. And now I know why. Nothing inside the pump casing is secured. The pump is held in place by two pieces of foam that compress when it is put in the case. The pressure relay was hot glued on one of two connectors and that had failed. A wiring harness also had hot glue to hold it in place. The interior detailing of this is absolutely sad and was built to the cheapest possible standards. No wonder it broke. It vibrated the pad out of the way and was rubbing against the case. So more cheap stuff from China that will eventually break on you. In any case, I cleaned the pump housing and used some waterproof epoxy to seal the housing. I don't expect it to last very long so I ordered a different brand as a replacement. I can't seem to add any photos to this, but the construction with hot glue is really sad.

Excellent quality and whisper-quiet performance
This VEVOR water pump system exceeded my expectations. I installed it on a concrete wall and was amazed by how silent it is — you can’t hear a thing while it’s running. It delivers a steady water supply to my coffee machine and fridge without any hiccups. The double pipe setup is incredibly convenient. I use two 5-gallon bottles and don’t have to worry about running out of water. Swapping bottles is simple, and the automatic shut-off gives me peace of mind. It’s compact, easy to install, and very well built. If you need a reliable, quiet, and efficient water dispenser for home or office, this one is a great choice.

Satisfied / Dissatisfied / Satisfied
We replaced out cabin refrigerator recently. Unlike our old fridge, the new model came with an ice maker and water in the door. An Amazon.com search produced this pump, complete with supply hoses for a 4-5 gallon jug and refrigerator hook up. I installed the pump and jug in an adjacent kitchen cabinet, drilling a 1.25" hole through the cabinet wall for the power cord and water line. Some reviewers mention the pump's noise, but it's only on when the ice maker and/or water in the door are engaged, just a few seconds and honestly it's not that bad. Thanks to whoever thought of this system. PROS: 110v plug, fresh water anywhere you have power, easy to install, enough psi to trigger the ice maker, affordable, comes with a long supply hose and fittings to connect to a refrigerator. CONS: would like a slightly longer power cord (workaround - a grounded extension cord). UPDATE 7/6/21: Something went wrong. Instructions say the pump will shut down when the water jug is empty. Well, the jug was empty but the pump kept running. I've filled the jug but the pump hums without sending water to the refrig. Lines aren't pinched. It sounds like it is not priming. I hope the manufacturer will see this and offer a suggestion. 4 stars now - in hopes there is a work around. UPDATE 7/10/21: Called customer service and was promised a call back yesterday morning. Didn't happen. Now 3 stars. UPDATE 7/11/21: I took the system apart. I'm guessing there was a obstruction in the water line. The pump worked so I flushed and reconnected the lines. Voila! I'm a happy customer again. Back to 5 stars. If you have trouble, try removing and reinstalling all hoses / connections.
