This table came shipped with the inside storage compartment damaged. It was scratched as if it may have been a returned item or due to improper handling while pancaking or shipping. The metal pieces that connect the top piece to the main frame of the table has to be adjusted, as it did not line up as it was supposed to and we’re missing the screws that hold it in place. The predrilled holes were damaged. My husband had to Macgyver this table in order to piece it together. He used chopsticks and wood glue to fill the holes, then sanded down and redrilled holes. By the time he was finished with assembling this, it came out beautiful. We love the table now, but it was disappointing that he had to put so much work into it (and some extra money) to assemble a table. The inside compartment is still scratched up but that doesn’t bother us as it is covered and all we use it for is storing blankets, etc. All in all, you get what you pay for.

It’s a good value and the quality is not bad, but it some pieces did not fit well together and some of the screws were in tight spots

They use 1/4" nails to fasten the lift-top hinges to the table. When it arrived, the nails had fallen out during shipping. You're going to need to replace the nails with larger ones if you want this piece to last any amount of time.

So one of the pieces, the wood groove was not cut right and I had to sand it down in order to fit the piece together. I paid a lot so I who’s have expected this to be taken care of.
