The only recommendation I would give to the manufacturer for this would be to possibly have a tiny loop on the side where you can put a keyring on it to help keep it safe so you don't lose it easily but I wouldn't have a problem with it since it's bright red to grab your attention. As far as I can see, it basically passes through the 5v connections and has no data connections so there would be no way a virus could be passed through it or data could be "sucked" out. Of course it also means you can't download photos or sync your phone or anything like that - all it does is let you charge. So, basically, it turns a computer USB port into a non-smart charger. That also means it charges slowly at 0.5A whatever the port or charger rating, because higher charge rates are negotiated between charger and phone, which requires data. **Q: Does this work with iPhone 8 and 11?** A: Yes.
