DEFECTIVE BURNED OUT GPUS FOR SALE
I'm writing this review so that noone is left wondering why their GPU may not be working. My company purchased 2 of these cards from this very vendor for our Dell R740xd Server with 2400 PSU 1.5 TB of RAM and dual 2699 CPU's so power and compatibility should have never been an issue. Our team went literally months trying to troubleshoot as to why these cards did not work. We even blamed Nvidia for updating their drivers as to why these cards weren't working as a pair. I then discovered that the vendor had sent me 2 different V100 GPUs one was a -S and the other was a standard V100. No problems and hey we were able to get an upgrade for free. WRONG... after downloading and troubleshooting all viable versions of Nvidia/CUDA versions we then began to see that these GPU's were hard failing when load was applied to them at different memory addresses within similar ranges. Geek speak aside both GPUs are getting XID memory failure. This means that these GPU's have been run into the ground probably a part of a crypto farm that got burned out. This company is selling defective gear fully worn our gear. I didn't look at the reviews when we purchased our cards but now we can prove that they are 100000% defective and others seem to have had the same issues from this vendor. PLEASE STEER CLEAR! We are beyond our return window but just know that we will NEVER Purchase from this vendor again as we purchased 2 of these... They provided two different GPU's and then when separated they both have virtually identical memory failures across multiple other servers we used to test them. STEER CLEAR FRIENDS!

Burned out immediately upon installation.
The card was properly installed but burned out the moment the server was turned on. Defective card, don't use this vendor.

Doesn't work in X99 Desktop Motherboards
Dear colleagues, We've been using Tesla cards on Microsoft Azure VMs for about 2 years. Our main application is CST EM simulations. We ordered this V100 32gb board and tried it in three computers. Asus X99 motherboard: Did not boot in any PCIe configuartion. Gygabyte X99 motherboard: Did not boot in any PCIe configuartion. Asus X299 motherboard w/ i9-9900x: Booted and recognized in Windows 10. In the end, we ended up returning the board since it didn't work in our workstations. The X299 motherboard was promising -- so try it out. Best regards, Dmitry
