We were getting intermittent false alarms. I switched the problem zone with another zone. The false alarms moved to the new zone so I knew it was the sensors. I replaced all sensors in that zone. These have functioned well for about a month now. A stiffer solid wire might make pushing connections back into 3/8” opening easier so watch your lead length.

Decent product, fair price

I replaced my old patio doors and only used the magnets. The worked perfectly with my old sensors. The drill size was 23/64 and the magnets fit snugly.

Exactly what we needed to fix a broken sensor on door. No telling what it would've cost to have the alarm company come fix the wires. We have a national, big name alarm company and these worked perfect. It took all of about 4 minutes to pop out the faulty sensor and replace with one of these, and I'm about as far from an electrician as you can get. Now I have 4 extras just in case.
