I know it might seem silly to get so excited about a clip, but the GEAR AID HEROCLIP is seriously one of those things you don't realize you need until you have it. I originally bought the small one when my son was a baby to clip his diaper bag to things when we were out and about. You know, those restrooms that inexplicably don't have hooks? This clip was a lifesaver!Now that my son's a bit older, it's found a new home on his daily carry bag. He uses it to clip his water bottle, his lunch bag, even his jacket when he gets too warm. It's just so versatile!I love how sturdy it is. Even the small size can hold a surprising amount of weight, and the rubber tip keeps things from slipping. The 360-degree swivel hook is also super handy – it makes it easy to access whatever you've clipped to it.It's compact and lightweight, so it doesn't add any bulk to his bag. And the fact that the hook folds neatly into the carabiner when it's not in use is a nice touch.If you're looking for a simple but incredibly useful tool, the HEROCLIP is a must-have. A bit pricey (I paid US$16.95 each), but nevertheless I ended up buying several of them (small size). Keeping your gear up off the ground or a sticky floor can be well worth the cost.I haven't seen anything like this clip, and since it attaches to the bag like any carabiner, it's always there, ready to do the job. And to be rated at 50 pounds capacity ... well, I think that should make it easy to hang most bags or backpacks.I've tried it with a backpack using the hook to suspend it from a table top, and it works very well. The hook part also swivels 360 degrees from the caribiner part, so you can hook it onto many different things, like a door, small branch, ledge, etc.Closing the hook back onto the caribiner took me a few tries until I realized the hook part needs to be offset first a bit from the main caribiner (it can't be in the same plane when closing it), then swung shut like a garden gate while hoding the silver caribiner clip open to receive it. It helps to pay attention to things when you first open the rotating hook, swinging the hook part sideways away from the caribiner before extending the hook part, to see how this works.Once you've opened and closed it once or twice it becomes obvious, and you think, "Gee, that's really clever."

This carabiner now lives on my backpack. Originally bought for a trip to Asia where I attached a 5L sling to my backpack. Was traveling with my wife and our toddler and we used it to hook a small diaper bag to the stroller. My wife ended up using it a lot because she doesn't like having her bags touch the floor - hung it off restaurant table. Just a convenient little item to have with you when out and about. Lightweight and very sturdy. Little expensive, but worth it for me.

This is an amazing piece of gear for practically every day use. You can use it at the airport, bathroom stalls, gyms, home, work...anywhere you need to hang something up and keep the item off of the floor. I use this in my camper van when I drop into a gym for a shower. It's perfect to keep my items in sight and in reach when I'm showering, especially when the gym does not have a shower hook in the shower stall. I attach this to my shower bag, hang the HeroClip on the pole...et voila! It is sturdy and strong. It raises the common carabiner to a new level of functionality all in a light weight package.

This is a carabiner that also doubles as a hook. When not using as a hook, simply rotate it back and it's a carabiner again. The GearAid Heroclip is great for travel and public spaces where you simply do not want to place your bag on the ground. I've used it at airports and public restrooms (gas stations especially), and public pools in situations where the hook was either missing - or I needed an additional hook (with a jacket occupying the first one). They come in different sizes with different weight capacities, all of which are listed. Simple but practical - would recommend.

I thought it based on the idea of what I might need it for, which is a rare situation, but when I used a bathroom and this was on my bag I was glad I had it.
