I have purchased these pistachios for five years, now – more than 25 times! – and haven’t looked back once. These are excellent pistachios; moreover, they come at a very reasonable price.At various grocery stores (Hannaford, Market Basket, Star Market) and countless local specialty purveyors, I find pistachios that are often only available in the salted form and/or are not dry roasted. What is more, the ones from the store are often inferior in quality – small, misshapen nuts, some of which have been scorched in the roasting process, and that often have a rancid flavor that nuts can develop after being in storage for a long time – and, even if they come from a big-name seller (like Wonderful), they are not, in fact, “wonderful” or affordable. The ones I see at the store – and on e-stores like Nuts.com -- are usually upwards of $15/pound.In contrast, these nuts from Fiddyment are always of high quality: bursting with flavor, evenly roasted, and robust in size, too! For $9/pound, I am awestruck by the obviously superior quality to that of the aforementioned store-bought nuts. To boot, I have had positive exchanges with Fiddyment management the one and only time I experienced a problem (a minor issue, no less), I contacted them and they promptly wrote back offering to help fix the issue. And, indeed, they did: instead of questioning my claim or asking for further information, they offered to provide me with a new, fresh bag at no cost. It arrived within several days of our correspondence.If you are looking for pistachios, these are the ones to buy!(And no, Amazon did not pay me to write this review…I just LOVE this product.)

Good value, tasty, fresh.

I don't use these in cooking, though they would be good, because they have shells and would take too much time to add to a recipe. but my husband eats them as a separate course with nearly every lunch and dinner. My cardiologist recommended Pistachios for their healthy oils, and these are tasty and keep well. Oh, and I use the shells for paving for my garden paths.

Since 2018 till date, I have bought several of Fiddyment Farms Pistachios. I have been happy with the brand until lately. On the two packs I ordered in February, I recalled my mother in-law saying something about most of the Pistachios’ shells been emptied. So when the last two packs I ordered got delivered last Saturday, I decided to take a closer look at the contents. Yes, my mother in-law was right. Most of the shells were emptied. See photos.

This batch was smaller than my previous. I like them large. Freshness and taste acceptable.

We have been ordering these, and they are fresh and tasty, but this past couple of orders, we had many empty shells. This last order we had over 200 empty shells!

I order a five pound bag on the average of every five weeks. I've been doing so for the last few years. The product quality and taste is very good and is why I have been buying consistently. The last few bags had more than normal empty shells with no pistachios inside. I sifted around a pound and half hollow, empty shells.Usually there will be a lot of loose pistachios in the bag from the shifting around during handling and shipping to compensate for the empties. There were no loose nuts that fell from these empty shells in the last few bags. I'm hoping they will do a better job in the future filling these bags. I wasn't happy with the net weight after removing all of the hollow product mixed in.
