Lights great indicators great don't have to take hands of bars

This was a birthday gift so we were very disappointed when the charging system didn't seem to work and the lights wouldn't turn on. To make matters worse, my wife contacted the company direct to see if we had missed something and they asked her to prove it was defective with a video. We now have to send it back to them at our expense!! Hoping now to get a replacement soon.
