Trust: That's the Key Word
If you are in any sort of commercial environment and making up a pluggable connection to the A.C. Mains, then using a Hubbell 5-15P is worth every penny. Do not rely on el-cheapo connectors and dubious electrical cords when operating in an everyday environment. The Hubs will accommodate SOOW 10/3 cord with no problem and a bit of No-Ox to grease the copper strands before insertion is the icing on the cake.

Good plug, holes for wire are too small for 10 gage wire.
Looks good, seems sturdy, but I could not get my 10 gage wire through the small holes to take advantage of it's ability. Since I didn't want to use a drill to widen the holes, I'm returning it. The information says it handles 10 - 14 gage wire. My 10 gage extension cord, bought from Amazon, suffered a light burnout on the male end. So, since this cord's holes were too small, I'm stuck looking again for a plug replacement.
