Perfect parking aid
For this price it is an excellent product, but very hard and time consuming to install. You have to place the control box to the rear of the car, the run a wire to the centre consol of your car for the display, run 4 cables from the front of the car to the rear for the 4 front sensors, run 4 cables from the rear bumper to the control box and get some other wires hooked up to 12V, brake lights and reversing lights. Loads of wires to hide. For me it took a whole day and I am a technical person.Be careful with the wires running from the front, for some cars they might be short. Consider well where you place the control box to allow all the wires reach it.It is also important to well consider the positions of the sensors. Don't put them too low, they might detect the ground. When you reverse, the 4 rear and the two front corner sensors are working. After pressing the brake pedal all 4 front sensors are working for a while, but definitely not for 15 seconds, maybe for 5-8.Some people advised to turn the sensors upside down if they detect the ground after installation. Don't. The sensors are bent upwards a little bit if they are in the right position. You can put a spacer or something under the bottom of the sensors to turn them more upward. After two days playing with them they now work perfectly.Well worth the money, but think about the installation time or money you spend on getting it done by a mechanic. If installed properly, they work perfectly.Fortunately the colour I have ordered almost perfectly matches the colour of my wife's little Suzuki. She had a factory reversing camera, but preferred to have radar as well.

Helpful bit of kit
Hubby bought this for his van. Took him an afternoon to fit with his chums and is very happy with it.

Awful. Avoid buying this!
I bought this off the back of other reviews, thinking it would be a safe bet.It wasn’t.First off, if you are considering buying this. Don’t. It looks like good value but it’s a complete headache. Here’s why:1. The first one of these I bought had a faulty connector on the control unit. I had to buy a replacement.2. The replacement arrived completely dead; it wouldn’t work at all.3. The way it works is terrible. It wires into the brakes, and every time you press the brake pedal it gives a beep, whatever speed you’re doing, whether or not anything is in front of you.4. If you have a faulty sensor, it doesn’t unplug from the wire. You have to take out the entire cable you just spent ages routing.5. There is no adjustment that can be made to sensitivity or volume etc. It’s a cheap price but not worth the extra headache it creates

Longer cables needed! Plan your installation carefully!
Not a bad kit. 2x sets of four sensors. One set with longer cables to route from front to the controller in the boot, but the longer leads aren’t long enough. After feeding cable to one side to route to the controller it didn’t have enough cable to reach! Had to re-plan installation and reverse it so that the controller is fitted under the bonnet instead of in the boot!I have a Peugeot Partner van.Front sensors only work after activation by putting into reverse, so possible false sense of security if driving straight into a space because you won’t get any feedback.ANNOYING in the rain or after washing because they won’t shut up!
