Blood Pressure Supplement
I've listened to western medicos like Dr. Dean Edell put down supplements and vitamins (and go ballistic over homeopathic remedies) for thirty years. Chinese meds are rarely mentioned, and when they are it's usually to say they're old and useless.Well, Chinese remedies are old: they have a couple thousand years on modern medicine. And from experience, I think they have their place. They certainly do for me.I first came upon Chinese remedies seven years ago. My then six-year-old cat had chronic irritable bowel symptoms and my usual vet - open-minded as he was - could offer nothing but prednisone, a steroid. Cats tolerate it much better than humans or dogs, but I knew it would shorten his life. That was when I found a DVM who also uses holistic methods. Ricky the cat was put on a tea pill regimen (not the pill being reviewed) and has been on them ever since, with only an occasional change. Ricky is extremely active and far healthier at thirteen than he was at six.So, I'd been taking Inderol for mild high blood pressure for many years and I had avoided reading about the side effects for most of that time. A couple years into Ricky's Chinese pills, I consulted a practitioner and began using Six Flavor Tea Pills as recommended. After a couple weeks to give the pills time to begin working, I began lowering the amount of Inderol I was taking. Within a month, I was off the prescription drug and my blood pressure was lower than the drug-induced norm. It's stayed that way since then. (And one of the side effects of Inderol, tiredness, suddenly abated in the first couple months -- I was so used to the side effect that I didn't know I had it until it was gone. This is a remedy. It may work for you, it may not. Once my western MD commented on my better-than-ever blood pressure (at least six months after I'd switched), I was pretty convinced this is good stuff. For me. Please consult a good practitioner -- these simple pills are complicated and a practitioner prescribes or suggests OTC like this based on a whole body approach. Their goal is to restore balance to the body, and a good one knows what they're doing.Meanwhile, Ricky and I are very happy.Note that both practitioners (human and animal) only use Plum Flower Brand. Neither recommends any other brand.

Great value - equally great quality
I always recommend Plum Flower products. Years ago I met the head of Q&A, Skye Sturgeon, and he explained their testing methods. The have a YouTube channel too where you can understand more about their products. I recommend six flavor to my clients, as well las use it myself.

the dogs and I are pleased
I have two small spaniels, female, who are puppy-mill-breeder rescues. One came from a terrible mill and has all sorts of trauma, both physiological and emotional. Her back end is very weak; her rear legs tremble all of the time. As you might imagine, she has big incontinence problems - due partly to physical weakness, but also, and in large part, to terrific anxiety and nervousness. After five and a half years of cleaning up puddles and breaking my neck to get her outside every hour, I came across these pills - a little over a month ago. Her problem peeing has disappeared. Like magic. I cannot believe it. I give her three or four pills in her meals, twice a day, and two more when I go to bed, as she will have to get through my sleep hours. My sister told me about tea pills; her holistic doctor recommended them to balance her yin and yang. I do not know whether dogs have yins and yangs, but my little spaniel seems calmer and happier now, as well as being able to stay dry. As a result, my yin and yang have improved greatly. Also, my other spaniel, who used to be completely reliable, started having little episodes on the kitchen rug several months ago - possibly because she is getting old. Now I give her two pills twice a day, and there have been no more episodes.Again, these are small dogs: one weighs about sixteen pounds, the other around twenty. No idea whether larger dogs would need more. The recommended dose for humans is eight pills, three times daily.

Contains Talcum!
The product contains Talcum. Talcum is known to contain asbestos. Wish it would have been disclosed. The label wasn’t shown completely in the photos. No listing of ingredients. Looks like they were trying to cover it up.

Pills work for me due to vigilance.
I did the research for my menopause symptoms in TCM articles. My symptoms were hot flashes (but not extremely severe ones, so not bone steaming) dizziness, knee and low back pain, weak eyes, and disturbed sleep. I compared my symptoms to be sure what type of situation I had and for me it is yin deficiency. It's important to know something about TCM and herbal treatments before you self medicate. After taking 8 pills for 3 times a day for about 2 weeks, my hot flashes diminished in intensity and frequency and I was able to sleep better. I'm still taking the pills, though. If I stop, the flashes come back. Regularity in taking the pills is necessary because it takes time for them to work. It's not a quick fix. You are actually trying to strengthen your weak kidney energy. It's really best to visit a qualified acupuncturist before you buy the pills.
