I did some brief reading on the net and from this paragraph: In simplest terms, sucralose is just ordinary sugar that goes through a process that turns it into something your body does not recognize as sugar, and therefore does not breakdown into energy. Since sucralose comes from a plant, it is technically vegan.

Does Splenda have an aftertaste to it?

Not for me. I much prefer it to other artificial sweeteners like saccharin (Sweet 'N Low) that have a noticeable aftertaste. Also, I think Splenda has a more natural sweet flavor than Stevia or aspartame (Equal). However, there are downsides to all sweeteners, whether sugar, natural sugar substitutes like maple or honey, saccharin, aspartame or sucralose. You should look all of them up and consider the pros and cons before using any of them, especially if you are diabetic, pre-diabetic or have extra weight.

This has the best value for the price! Even better than Costco for the amountI love Splenda as it has the flavor most similar to sugar of all the sugar substitutes with no aftertaste.Saccharin and Nutrisweet both have a bit of an aftertaste. Xylitol is not as sweet and I have had to add alot of it. It also seems to settle at the bottom of my drinks.Monkfruit and the natural versions all have a bit of an aftertaste.Some improvements that may be made are ..offer this at an even greater savings in bulk powderPerfectly described and advertised.
