Wyoming Bold (Wyoming Men) [Palmer, Diana] on desertcart.com. *FREE* shipping on qualifying offers. Wyoming Bold (Wyoming Men) Review: Great book! - Great book about one of the three Kirk brothers, ongoing characters in Diana Palmers books. This particular book is about Dalton Kirk, aka "Tank", who was ambushed and shot in the course of his job with the Border Patrol. He recovered and resigned his job and came home to help run the family ranch with his two brothers. Unbeknownst to him, however, his life is in danger due to what his enemies are afraid that he knows in connection with their drug-running operation. He meets the heroine, Merissa, when she has a vision and comes to warn him of that. Their relationship takes off from there. Characters from Ms. Palmer's previous books are incorporated into the plot as well as her familiar plot devices of incorporating historical facts into the story. A fast-moving interesting read. Review: Good distraction, easy read, keeps you interested.. - This book was great! The romance was good without being over the top sexually. Her writing is sensual and romantic but not overtly hardcore dirty. It is a romance novel, so you expect a little bit of smut! I like all of the Diana Palmer Wyoming Men Series that I have read so far. If you need a distraction and a quick read, these books are for you! It started a little slow at first, but once I started reading I couldn't put it down until I was finished. I would note to try to read the books in order, which I did not- it makes the story line better although each book does stand alone and can be read in any order.

Sweet Story with External Conflict
WYOMING BOLD Is a story where the conflict is external. The main characters recognize one another quickly and while there is a little conflict between them, the main conflict is someone who is trying to kill them. THE STORY: Dalton Kirk is the youngest of the three Kirk brothers. He was almost killed when he was shot by smugglers when he was working as a DEA agent. Now his past is coming back to kill him. Merissa Baker comes to Dalton to warn him of the danger. She is psychic and has seen that the killer is coming to finish Dalton off. At first Dalton doesn't believe in Merissa's abilities, but soon is convinced. The two end up having feelings for one another although neither is good at figuring out the intentions of the other. Merissa also has a sad past and soon the past of both characters returns and might end their blossoming relationship. OPINION: I liked this book. I especially liked how Dalton cares so much about Merissa almost immediately. By keeping the conflict in the story external dealing with the man trying to kill Dalton, it allows the characters to have a sweeter romance even as the story is dramatic. It was a nice balance. This is definitely a story driven by the plot rather than the romance because the romance is sewn up pretty quickly without much drama. WORTH MENTIONING: Fans of the series will get an update on the older brothers and their wives. FINAL DECISION: I liked this book. The romance is sweet and the story mostly hinges on the external circumstances. I liked the characters of Dalton and Merissa and I especially liked how he comes to trust her so quickly and the two become attached very quickly and the plot is allowed to create the conflict rather than creating false disagreements between Dalton and Merissa. CONNECTED BOOKS: WYOMING BOLD is the third book in the Wyoming Men series. STAR RATING: I give this book 4 stars.

Great story!
Merrisa and Dalton (Tank) the two lead chacters face danger and intrigue throughout with twists and turns. A very strong emotional connection that neither expected!

I loved this book
As I have loved all her books over the past 18 years, the men are always Masculine, the women feminine, the story, humanly relatable. Diana-that's right your not from Texas--Texas wants you anyway ..write us some new books-I know you have lots more stories in you, and no one tells a story better than you. In this book Marissa has a kind of second sight and her love, Dalton, is somewhat skeptical, things get rough before he takes her seriously, but together they find the answer, overcome adversity and form a lasting bond of love .For a good read, read this book.

Very Eccentric Love
This is the final book (3) of the Wyoming brother trilogy. This book covers the love story of the youngest brother Dalton, "Tank". The woman he falls for is sort of a psychic of sorts that can tell certain things about people, mainly the future. Not incredible detail, but enough to know that something is up. I like the fact that this book has a little bit of religious undertones, but a more open-minded story line in the way of people accepting psychic abilities without putting the person down or out-and-out refusal to believe in it. This book also gives way to other side characters that I believe Diana Palmer has recently published or will publish later on this year. I did not know that I would fall in love with a set of side characters (Carson&Carlie), but I did. That book will be out later this year. But overall, this book was really great to finish up the brother's stories of how they met and fell in love with their wives.

Cookie Cutter Writing
I enjoy reading Diana Palmer's books, but this series does not rate among my favorites. I purchased all three books and felt the same about all of them: an okay story, but a little predictable. Great books to have on hand for those times when you just can't get too sucked in but still need an entertaining read.

Wyoming men are as good as Texan men!
Classic DP romance. The guy can do it all . Be caring and a jerk in one package but I the end they smarten up and get the girl. I liked the covert ops guys and the the connection to the Texas series. Can't wait for the next book.

This is the third in the series with the first 2 completely stand alone, this one has ties to both Courageous and Protector, so if you haven't read them you may miss some of the details and background to this story. Dalton aka Tank is targeted by a hit man that traces all the way back to Jacobsville so the story takes a side trip there for a bit. Hayes Carson features in this story along with Carson and Rourke from above mentioned titles. Cash and Garon Greer, Jon Blackhawk and Rick Marques also get in on the action and we learn that Rick is about to be a daddy awwww. There is a set up for a story about Carson as well as some background about him. Once you get into the story it just keeps going and gets addicting as you wait to see who the hit man is and how he is tied to Dalton. Merissa is a psychic so some might dismiss this as a vehicle for the story but when you hear how its affected her then you can see that its a good vehicle for this story. The plot gets very complex at times so you may have to re read bits to completely follow it but its like a big jigsaw that has no picture until the very end. The other Kirk boys do appear but their wives (plus baby and baby bump), appear very little. Overall its a page turned if you have read the other 2 books then you will fully get some of the in-jokes but otherwise its still a good read. This one like Protector you cant cut the ending as there is a set up for yet another story when or which series I don't know. I got the audiobook which came early hence this review before the release of the hardback. If you like DP then this is one to get as it flows with action from page to page, not much intimate action but what there is, is intense. This one im keeping!!!

Not a bad story, with a well-developed sense of threat building throughout, although the source of the threat remains extremely vague, and almost caricature as it does faintly become visible. The romance element is good but a bit too schmalzy. Overall an enjoyable read if you don't analyse too closely.

I loved Marissa so much, she is everything H needed. Dalton is a former border agent that almost lost his life when a gang of smugglers him for dead. He is now on his family's ranch trying to cope with the PTSD when Marissa, the local eccentric comes knocking on a snow storm, trying to warn him about a impending danger. Love flourish between them just as things start happening proving. Marissa's warning. It was a good read, but very overwhelming with the huge amount of secondary characters from previous books. Highly recommended though
