Nokia has always been my maker of choice, I find them me-friendly with buttons that are easy to use, and generally comprehensible menu options. The Nokia C2-05 largely fulfills this. They come in a good range of colours, I find them stylish, and good value for people like me who don't need to download pictures directly from the Hubble space telescope, access the internet from Mars or cook your dinner while you're out.But I find the camera picture quality can be variable, sometimes it doesn't save a sharp image but a fuzzy, indistinct one, so you may have to take more than one picture of what you want to get a good image. There appears no real rhyme or reason to this, and it will obviously sometimes affect capturing a quickly changing moment.However, £70 for a by and large very good mobile phone is good news.

I bought this phone last week, fooled by it's sleek and cool appearance and the need for a new phone, as my current one was dying rapidly. However, upon opening the box, the dissapointment began. The charger is a two pronged 'shaver' plug, so you need a shaver adaptor to charge this thing up anyway. The instruction manual was ENTIRELY in German, so I didn't know what the hell I was doing. There was no receipt, plus, when I turned on the phone for the first time, the screen was flickering. All this, coupled with the fact it has LESS ringtones and alert tones than earlier models, made me realise I'd wasted £60. I am so bitterly dissapointed with this phone that I actually rummaged around for an old Samsung U600 I remembered I had somewhere and decided to use that instead.My advice? Don't buy this! It's crap! Stick to Samsung. All sins forgiven!
