If you are looking for a shaver that handles almost all of your shaving needs then this Wahl Clean & Close Electric Shaver fits the bill. I was in the Army for seven years and have done my fair share of shaving. This shaver tackled everything I threw at it. Here is everything I liked. The shaver feels good in my hand, not too heavy but not cheap feeling. The whole thing is water proof so it is quick and easy to rinse and clean. It comes with a precision trimmer that works great for trimming longer hair like sideburns, chest hair, or even knocking down a beard before finishing with a close shave. I used the shaver with the precision trimmer mostly for a close shave daily, keeping my uni-brow in check, cleaning up my chest hair, and evening up sideburns. The shaver comes with cover to protect the head making it convenient to toss in a bag without worrying about damaging it while traveling. The box claims 90 mins of run time and in my two weeks of owning it so far and using for about 5-7 mins a day, I have yet to charge it.If I am being super picky hear are some things I didn’t like as much. I am not crazy about the red accent color. I would rather it be all black. The main body of the razor is glossy black plastic which makes it a finger print magnet but its not a deal breaker as I keep it in a drawer most the time. The charging cable it comes with is specific to the razor so don’t lose it. I would have loved to see a usb c port to be able to charge it with a cable I use for other electronic devices around my home.Overall this is a great razor. It’s portable, dependable, and durable.

This shaver does it all. If you're like me you've probably avoided foil style razors in the passed. The shave wasnt that close in the first place and it left your skin irritated, red and burning. I went 20 years without trying 1, until now. The Wahl Clean and Close wet/dry shaver is legit. Not only did it get me a super close shave it did so without any skin irritation, something I cant even say for my bladed razor. This razor is a time saver as well. No need for shaving cream, packs of razor cartridge and 5 minutes to complete your shaving task from prep to clean up. Bonus....this also does a great job on ears. This shaver is a wet/dry so it can be used while showering. It also, has a side burn trimmer that can be used to trim your beard or goatee under your nose or around your mouth. This shaver charges fast and a 1 hour charge lasts for a whopping 90 minutes!!! Another great feature is the travel lock. If you're on the go, like I am, and toss your shaver into the provided travel bag you can lock it so it will not turn on until you want to use it. Nothing worse then getting to where your going and your razor is dead because it was inadvertently turned on along the way. Just another great product from Wahl.

This is my first time purchasing a WAHL product. I switched over from Norelco. My new razor performs much, much better than my Norelco product. Has a better means of contouring to my face, easier to clean, and provides a smoother shave. One flaw, when you extend the sideburn trimmer, it doesn't go past the razor heads. That makes for some tricky work.

My brother in law is incompetent. Has a lot of troubles on a daily basis performing menial tasks. Unfortunately for him, he lives with me as I married his sister, and so does his mother who is also handicapped. My wife works all day so HE ends up tasked with helping his mother and I with the things that we need. As one reward for his service I told him to throw out his two razors that were old and bought him this one.And I have to tell you, he loves it, he loves to shave with it and has no problems using it. He comes in my room and lets me inspect him when he is done and I can tell you he has a better shave now than I've ever seem on him.

Having used a Panasonic Arc razor for the past Seven years, I decided to try this one out, as the Panasonic was getting old and this one was slightly cheaper than the cost of the Panasonic replacement foil and blades. I’ve been using it for about 5 months and am happy. No, the shaving head isn’t as big, but it does the job. The only difference is I could get in about 7 days worth of shaves on the Arc before cleaning. This one about 3-4 days or it will start to bite. No problem, it’s easy to clean. I charge it about every 2 weeks. It’s great for everyday use, but the Arc does better on 2-3 day stubble. For the price, I’m happy.

I am sorry to have to write a negative review, but I hope I am helping others not waste their money as I did.If I could return it I would but I travel so much (on cruise ships for work), I am not able to.Now to the review:The shaver part does not cut hair anywhere on your body.Forget about using it on facial hair. Not only you have to insist minimum 3 minutes on the same spot (pass it over between 60 to 70 times), but it is too large to do any detailing.The other trimmer part cuts into your skin it is unusable. I am talking about any skin surface: face, underarm, down there, anywhere.I am a 40 year old man, but I had my girlfriend try it too on her legs. No joy. This thing simply does not cut or shave hair (thick, large, small ,hard or soft).

This shaver is not as good as the Braum shaver that I had before. I have to go over my face several times with it to get a close shave. It holds a charge for a long time and is easy to clean. So I give it an OK but not great.

The Wahl Clean and Close Shaver is for the person who typically does not like an electric shaver. I had used 3 previous electric shavers over the past 30 years at times and quickly went back to standard razors and shaving cream. I like the way this one feels in my hand and am pleasantly surprised at how well it cuts without undue effort and I have experienced no chaffing or redness which had been a problem for me using other electric shavers. I have a beard and like to keep my neck area and the edges trimmed neatly and this shaver makes it quick and simple. The trimmer attachment takes a little getting used to as it feels a little bulky, but is not a deal breaker. I am extremely pleased with this shaver - good cost point, good design, and performs better than I expected. A 5 star rating that I recommend.
