Good taste and texture

I love beef jerky and have been eating it for over 40 years. I've pretty much have had every major brand and a lot of niche and local brands. While I can't say this is the best beef jerky I've ever had, it is extremely good for a major brand. Plus it goes on sale from time to time making it affordable. I also give this to my dog as a treat and he's really old so it can't be too bad for you.

I love Jack Link's Beef Jerky. I almost didn't order it due to the reviews about the mold, but thought I'd give it a shot anyway, because it's so much cheaper than the in-store prices. Mine arrived in great shape, and was fresh. The only issue I have with it is the same I have with all the jerkies these days. They're all too moist. There really shouldn't have to be an expiration date, which is, or was, the point of jerky in the first place. I open the bag and lay out the pieces on paper towels on a plate and let it dry. Of course, I have to hide it in the microwave, or it I'd eat it all before it had a chance to dry.

I am not really a jerky fan myself, but I buy this product twice a year for my stepson, and he is always very happy to get it. This is the first time I have gotten a 2-pack - I normally just get the individual ones - but I thought the price was reasonable, so I would purchase it again.
