30 amp inline circuit breaker reset fuse
Pro: They work great, I have solar panels on my RV. goes between panels and controller This device gives me the ability to cut power to my RV from the solar panels as well as protection. A must have if you install solar panels on an RV.Neg: wiggle the connector when turning on or off to make sure it"s on or off. When working with electrical always double check everything.

Very useful disconnect.
I use these all the time as a disconnect for the solar panel to the solar controller. As you know you must never have solar power coming into the solar controller if the battery is not connected. You can disstroy the controller if you do. I know, as I have made this fatal mistake, by mistake or ignorance. It can be costly. I use only MPPT controllers and they run around $150.00 and up. They also serve as a breaker for over power surges, for what ever reason. They are cheap insurance as well very hand when you need to disconnect the panel for any service work that must be performed. Always remember the breaker needs the be 10% larger than the current that the panels can produce. Solar is fun, let's be safe smart about it.

So far so go
I used these on my solar system and after a month they are still doing what I need them to do.

Disappointed and almost catastrophic
So ordered a 2 pack for my camper charge line rated at 12v @ 30 amp draw and got 40 amp for the "surge" at first it didn't seem bad. But I noticed when the camper was less than 75% charged it started tripping. Put a meter on it recently and it was pulling around 25 amps. Then I started noticing the crackle and it getting warm. Pulled my second out of the glove box and swapped it out, never used this one before. Swapped them out and turned on the truck, plugged in the charge line and I heard it crackling at 27amps. I let it run long enough to actually get hot, it never tripped but could be disconnected. This can't handle the amps, and is a waste of money and time if it actually has to do its job, it WON'T.

Holds at least 20 Amps without overheating/tripping.
I've been through countless versions of these and find the amperage capacity to be hit and miss as compared to the "rating". I bought these 40a breakers to replace a couple of 50a rated ones from another vendor that were tripping at 20a. They stay cooler and have not tripped at 20a. The voltage drop is also a bit less than the bad 50a rated breakers were showing. (Which makes sense, since heating of the bimetal element due to excess current flow is what trips this style breaker...)

40 amp fuse in action
I use this everyday and I know I can rest assured that my solar power system setup is protected. Highly recommend this product to anyone needing breakers in their circuitry can't go wrong here and you get two!

OK product
I gave 4 stars because when I tried to use the weatherproof ends, the breaker would not have any continuity, even though the breaker was in it's set position. By loosening the plastic ends the circuit would have continuity. Fortunately I did not need the waterproof characteristics and was able to remove the ends permanently.
