Not the worlds best but also far from the worst
Two points to remember -This is made of cast iron I think, so check for any burrs that might catch, there were none on mine but worth checking for with cast iron. There was a little too much play with cutting wheel wobble, I first tried to insert a washer but had none thin enough, so gently squeezed the outer cutting wheel walls in a pair of mole grips to reduce the cutting wheel wobble. Do this GENTLY, it only needs a minimal squeeze at most. This is not really a fault of the design, it cost £8 so you are Not buying a super precise tool here, it is well within normal spec and with a minimal amount of prep work you end up with a tool that works very well. Also ensure that the circlip holding the bolt has to sit correctly.Overall this is a good product for the price.

Works well for a DIYer
I can only review this as a DIY user as that's how I've used it , not daily as a professional might do , for me it's been excellent and worked flawlessly the few times I've used it , I like the adjustability and not buying separate pipe cutters for each job.

Simple, easy to use and robust.
I needed a pipe cutter for my bike toolbox, to use to cut down the steerer tube of new forks. I didn't want to buy something too expensive, as it's not a tool I would be using constantly, and this fit the bill perfectly! Even though it was cheap, it feels incredibly well made and with tight tolerances. They even bothered greasing the thread during assembly which isn't something you usually see on tools like this! It works perfectly, and cuts aluminium clean and straight every time.

Good tool but cannot cut pipe close to a wall
It does cut pipes very easily but I could not cut the pipe that was sitting close (3cm) to the wall as the pipe cutter could not turn around the pipe fully.

Got there in the end
I would of gave this item one star because the black plastic wheel bit for tightening broke on first try, I have given it a few more stars only because I was able to modify it myself by using an Allen key bolt and nut and then was able to cut my bike handlebars , the very very weak point in the chain here is the tightening bolt , it's rubbish..which is a shame because once I modified it it worked a treat and easily cut a quite thick bicycle handle bar very neatly.

Great for cutting down mtb bars
Feels a tad bit cheap but I’ve cut down one pair of bars so far and it still seems to be sharp!NOTE: when you are cutting the bars down, make sure that you tighten as you go along. When you hear a kind of crunching noise, you are very nearly done. It will cut through aluminium, it just may take a few minutes. Great value though as it gets the job done with an ultra accurate and clean cut

Lifesaver for cutting a steel curtain rod!
I ordered one of those adjustable curtain rods on Amazon for a rather long span of room. Unfortunately whatever I did the rod was either too short or too long. Luckily I found a video about these pipe cutters and ordered one. If you guys need to cut through pipe this thing will save you a lot of headache. But do keep in mind it does take quite a few turns to cut through harder materials with a cutter like this. But I imagine copper or brass would be quick.
