Sensationail Gel Polish, 0.25 oz, Disco Fever

I absolutely love this brand and this color is great. My husband bought me a Sensationail nail kit with the UV light for my birthday a while ago and I have been hooked. I love that I can do this at home, without having to find a time to go out. And this polish stays on incredibly well. I've had it on my nails before for 4 weeks without it chipping! It was much to grown out at the bottom, but that's my fault. This color is really girly and a great color for spring, although I don't mind wearing it in winter to brighten things up. Lovely color! Gel nail polish is a bit tough to remove. I would recommend the Sensationail removal tool. It makes it so much easier. I received this product at a discounted price in exchange for my honest review.

This Kitten Heel is a lovely colour. When put on correctly, SensatioNail lasts a long time! Much longer than regular nail polish.

Fake Sensationail, not the real product! Ordered a pink sparkly polish, it came in a beige polish box and bottle, opened the actual polish and it's green/yellow! Different packaging from real Sensational products as well.

Finally! The perfect neutral white! I am more olive toned in my skin so the pink looks good and it appears like a milky white. It isn’t any more streaky than other gel nail polishes, especially if you try to apply thicker layers of it. I think if you are fair-skinned, this may appear more pink on you but if you have warm undertones, you should be fine. It reminds me of those neutral nails you see in jewelry or watch commercials.

I've been looking all over for a pale pink gel polish that's still pretty sheer and came across this one. When I go to salons, they don't seem to have any sheer gel colors, just opaque. My skin tone is olive/medium brown so opaque pinkish/white seems too stark. Sheer pale pink, however, seems to go with all skin tones. My only issue with this color is that it still appears streaky even after 3 coats. I have a pretty steady hand and I make sure to apply thin layers since this is gel polish, but I can't avoid streaks no matter what I do. I might start to do some nail art to cover imperfections (glittery top coat, designs using stencil), but it takes me long enough since I still have to prep the nails. Plus, I can't even do my nails till the kids are in bed so I've already got a late start. In the end, I agree with other reviewers that it's a lovely color. Just beware that it'll streak. It's still better than non-gel polish, but I was hoping for more even application since gel is supposed to be "self leveling".

This looks exactly like the picture. I put it over the smell the roses color and it was super cute. I would not wear it alone bc it is sheer but like I said, super cute for top coat.

I love the color, have been looking for a dark brown for a long while. Unfortunately the lid was not tight on the bottle and when I received it and opened the box there was polish everywhere. I contacted the seller and they were very nice about the situation and has sent me out another bottle without having to return the first one. When you get a good response from the seller in situations like these I don't mind the mishap so much.
