Loved because of the variety of lead hardness.
My granddaughter loved the gift. She especially loved the variety of lead hardness and the appropriate erasers.

needed eraser dried up, but otherwise good value set
bought this for my daughter who is just starting to get interested in sketching... it came with no instructions but there was an interesting review of the product on YouTube. My only complaint is the Kneeded Eraser was supposed to be soft and pliable like putty, but it was all dried out and unusable. likely this kit has been sitting around too long and expired, but the rest of the items are good, so overall I'm not unsatisfied.

Great set for a beginner
I'm a total beginner with graphite and charcoal. This set is a steal. I took off one star because the kneaded eraser is trash. Luckily I had one in my watercolor kit. I used the HB, 3B and soft charcoal pencils on this on a long with white gel pen.

Overall I would say it is a great inexpensive set that all beginners should get.
I am very new to drawing and just got my first sketch pad a little over a week ago and really just started taking it seriously. I am very much a beginner but this set was perfect. It has everything that I need and the charcoal and the shading stick makes shading a lot easier and fun. I love how my first two drawings look after receiving this kit and watching some videos on YouTube about how to shade. This set has really helped me to get better and better every time I sit down and grab my sketch pad.
