WORKS GREAT!
This cord is just perfect!! I did get some advise from a local computer store who had this cord for $39.99 but on 6”. I told them I saw it on Amazon for just over $10 bucks only. The Tech said make sure you get DVI-D to VGA or it won’t work. Don’t leave the D off. I got a newer monitor to use with my existing 4 yrs old computer, which still works great!

Worked Perfectly!
I needed to connect a VGA monitor to my desktop and only had a DVI port available. I tried an adapter on the existing DVI cable and it didn't work. I bought this and it works perfectly!

Good DVI to VGA cable

Cable works as intended.
I still use an older TV with VGA input so this cable was just what I needed for my more modern GPU that lacks analog out (DVI-D port). I was previously using a DisplayPort to VGA adapter but with my current graphics card this prevented me from being able to access the BIOS and POST screen of my PC. I could only get picture after the OS loaded the drivers. This cable has resolved the issue.Side note: The cable I purchased was amz recertified. Despite some minor damage to the jacket and rather small gauge wires it's working fine. Luckily the damage didn't go past the grounded shielding.

Works Great
We've had this for a while, but I finally decided to give a review. When we purchased our new desktop pc quite some time ago, we needed this connection. If we had paid for an in home tech visit to set up and install the new pc, this connection would have come with their extremely high fee charges. However, since my husband prior to retirement worked in the engineering field and knew exactly what to do, he has always installed and connected our home desktop pc's. We ordered this cable, he connected it and it works great.
