I greatly enjoy this workbook. A friend of mine’s son is incredibly intelligent as far as testing scores go but struggles with writing. I am helping teach him with his schoolwork due to the coronavirus going on right now. This workbook is something extra I added to help improve his writing (2nd grade). We do three to four pages at a time due to his ADD and it is engaging and manageable. I highly recommend.

Excellent book!! I bought it for my daughter in first grade. it's building her writing skills step-by-step. I love it.

So far l’m loving all the spectrum books I bought. This grade 2 workbook Im using it foe both of my kids 6 and 7 years old. Its a step by step how to write creatively. I also bought the grade 3 for later use. I hope these books can be wrapped in some kind of protection when it arrives.

It’s good! Just wish it would help more with setting up paragraphs and ease into that more.

I really like using the Spectrum books for a lot of my homeschooling bookwork.

This book is perfect for my second grade RSP students. The activities break the task of writing down into manageable chunks. I love the use of visual aids, like graphic organizers and drawing, as pre-writing tools.

These books are great. Right on target with national standards. use them as an integral part of our home school program.

I brought this writing book because before my daughter used the language art was good. But she try couple pages and said this book is boring. Need to write a lot. What I expected was a book that can teach her how to think and write for the writing and a book that can stimulate her interest in writing. One more thing, the answer key was funny, almost all “responses will vary”

I like all of the books by spectrum. They are really great.
