It has a mind of its own and changes your temperature without you knowing it and there's nothing you can do about it. I did the mistake of installing it into my second home. I carefully followed all instructions, cleared the calendar. Told it to not be "smart" and record my habits but instead follow my instructions. But still. Although i set the temperature to 60 to prevent freezing when I left the house, and told the thermostat not to follow my location to determine whether I was home or not, when I got back to the house a few days later it had changed itself to 45.
