I make tea with this. Taste good like a cross between ginger and green tea combination. Just has to be strained.

WE MAKE OUR OATMEAL EACH MORNING. GREAT TASTE! I PUT IN OATS, RAISENS WATER AND 1 LEVEL TEASPOON OF GALANGAL IN BOWLS. I TURN ON MY 1100 WATT MICROWAVE AND HIT IT FOR 1 MINUTE THEN PUT IT ON FOR ANOTHER 5 MINS AT 40% POWER........PERFECT!!!!!! WE LOVE THE TASTE. IT IS A SPICE OF THE GINGER FAMILY. I SERVE IT WITH A LITTLE MILK OVER IT.

It’s pure, it’s spicy, it clean, it’s wonderful !I opened this container and was greeted with the full rich spicy flavor of Galangal - very strong and pungent aroma. I closed immediately and sealed tight. This Saturday I’ll be cooking some Lamb Curry with a splash of this spice included, and will provide an update after that.Update: I’m enjoying this Herb and specific brand immensely. I was taking Galangal Root capsules for their potential preventative benefits, but switched to powder form for a cost benefit as well. I was quite surprised at how versatile it is. Smells and tastes (very lightly ginger) quite good on lots of things. I even put a half-teaspoon on my granola, or mixed in with a milk protein drink, or in soups and chilies, etc. Formerly just a supplement, I now enjoy its contribution to meals as well with one less pill to swallow.

I liked the fragrance and delicacy of the flavor. I've bought organic, powdered Galangal before, butfound this better. Less harsh and more subtle than what I've used before. The affinity with Gingeris identifiable, yet it has a distinct taste and character.

This product does not disappoint. Great flavor and quality.

Inlive this thai ginger powder..it is the most flavorful spice I have ever had. It adds an exotic flavor to my soups and anything else I put it in. More zing to your palette than regular ginger..its the best n most flavorful food item I have ever used.
