Only about 10 min of sliding on a 50 min DVD.
I was hoping to like this DVD, but no go. While other reviewers of Obsidian DVD's have commented on the poor quality video, I can say that this was, while definitely not up to a $20 price, viewable. I could see the faces and the video was clear. But, that's where the pro's end. I purchased this for an aerobic sliding video, like slide classes I used to do at the gym. Those were intense and weren't trying to be an all-around workout on a slide board. There is NO description really covering what's on this video, only that it's an intermediate slide workout, so I had no way of knowing what was truly involved with the workout, and most of it was very easy.This is approximately how much sliding you'll have on this DVD:1. About 4 min of back and forth sliding. Each segment goes on for approx 2 min and I think there were 2 total. 2!!2. About 2 min of in and out sliding for inner and outer thighs.3. About 2 min of "mountain climbing" with your hands on the ground, running your legs like climbing, on the board.That's it. That part was good and I felt it in my legs and lungs, but that was IT. The rest of this 50 min video is very basic floor exercises and some dumbbell exercises. 2 moves are done with hand mittens to do sliding pushups (which are good but that's not what I was looking for with this video), and abdominals. Lunges are done on the board but that's more of a balance move, not an aerobic slide move.So because out of 50 min there was really only 10 min or less of actual sliding, this DVD doesn't do it. At all.If anyone knows of an actual good slide DVD, I'd love to hear about it.
