Electro-Voice Evolve 50 Column Speaker Carrying Case with Wheels

I've only had this a couple months so I can't speak to its long term durability, but I can say that it fits the evo 50 perfectly and makes it much easier to transport. Probably more expensive than it needs to be but it works and I am satisfied with the purchase.

Keeps my Evolve 50 safe from the elements and makes it a lot easier to transport. A good investment.

For as much as this case costs, the zipper is faulty. After a few months it broke and the "warrantee" was expired. I can no longer can completely open the case and its difficult to take out and put in the case. It was great while it lasted.

I have 2 Evolve 50 speakers and have been searching for this item at a great price. This shipper gives the best discount on 2 cases.Saved a considerable amount from this shipper.

Box wasn't in great shape when it arrived. The cover fits perfectly however one of the back bars that house the pull out handle was bent. Because of bent bar the handle will not raise up, making transportation of this heavy speaker difficult. The rollers help tremendously!

This is a nice cover for the Evolve 50 base unit. It allows you to easily transport the speaker to/from your gigs, and also makes it easy to load the speaker in and out of vehicles. If you have an Evolve 50, I would say this is a must have.This cover is very well designed. It has two well made zippers which you use to open a "flap", and you then slide the speaker base unit inside the case. Close up the zippers, and you are ready to move. There are handles on the top, sides, and even one on the bottom which makes it very easy to load the speaker. There are loop straps on the top which you can use to secure the top column array case that you got with your Evolve 50 onto this case for transport.I do wish there were pockets for cables. It would be nice to throw the cables for the speaker into the case with the speaker, rather than having them go into a generic cable box. That would make setup even quicker.This case has a telescoping "luggage style" pull handle, which makes it quite easy to move the speaker around. The instructions warn however not to tilt the case on two wheels and pull it. You should always roll the case on all 4 wheels - it is not made to hold the weight on only 2 wheels.The padding inside is very well made. There are corner pieces that are made to hug the contours of the speaker (angled front grill). All of the padding is velcro'd in, so if you need to take it out to clean or replace it, you can easily do so.Unfortunately, due to the design, this case does not fold flat at all, mostly because of the telescoping handle and also the protective foam. This makes it almost impossible to hide the case away under a table during a gig. I have to bring them back to my vehicle and store them there during the gig, then go back and get them. I would say this is the biggest negative of this cover.PROS: Very good protection for the speaker Padding is ample and put in with velcro so you can take it out for cleaning or replaceement Nice handles for loading the speaker in/out of a vehicle. ... but was in a much worse state than described so returned.Cannot believe that this item has such a high RRP especially when I have seen that it is not the best material, zips are average and casters really need to be better - I have seen wheeled cases with stronger ones and the padding is minimal!!Maybe useable for the the EV 50M which fits quite well, but the 30M is not so well held in the bag.Overall, could never recommend.

This rolling bag is great. The speaker fits in perfectly and you have 2 straps that handles the other speaker bag. They tough about everything. The two handles on the side and the one on the top are a great addition also. You never have enough handles right ? I would suggest that in the next version you guys put an electric motor on that so we can sit on it and move forward. Oh just an advice, whoever screws the part together, just watch out to not pierce the metal. The rolling bag is a saver when you transport the speaker around people. Also they always wonder what you have in there.
