"Electronic" E-cat Door Extra E-sensor Collar

Cat door easily fits between a sliding window that is higher than the cat door (14" I believe.) Mine was not high enough but it was easily elevated by a blockof wood 1/2" + than the slots in the sliding door and cat door. It worked excellently when installed except for the magnet placed around the cat's neck to openthe door when locked unless the magnet was used by the cat. Directions did not tell be that as the cat lowers itself to walk through the magnetically locked catdoor thecat door unlocks because of the close contact between necklace magnet and cat door. I called, asking for further instructions, but the people answe3ring the phonesimply asked me for my phone number and offered (without me asking) to send me a second one. Following their instructions, the second one easily performed its joband my cats are happy users of the cat door. I strongly recommend the door and even more strongly commend the folks at the company office for graciously taking careof my problem (which as you have already guessed was partially my fault and the writer of the instructions who did not clearly discuss how the magnets tied around thecats' necks made the door function. I give the door and the company's reps answering my phone call 5 ++ and the instructions a 4.

I do not like the fact these magnets do not work. The design of how the magnet dangles from the collar as well as the proximity necessary utilize the door renders this product useless.

I like it because it work, the original sensor collar that came with the door did not meet the requirements.Thanks,
