I have to start with a disclaimer, I didn't read the manual before I used it. It was a little wonky at first, but after the internal battery charged all the way up, it was fine. This camera will not completely cover some rear view mirrors. I have a Toyota Sienna and my mirror has the built in garage door openers and compass. The right edge of the cars mirror can be seen, but it's not that noticeable. The 128GB flash card that Amazon recommends was tight going in the first few times and I had to wiggle it to make it click in and out. Mine got easier after a few days. It's actually a little thicker than the smaller capacity that I used for testing. Initially it kept telling me to insert SD card even though it was in already. After you format it, it will be fine. The controls are not easy to figure out without reading the instructions. It starts recording automatically when you start the car, but you have to stop recording in order to go into the menu to change settings. I can easily see how someone would think this camera is a lemon if they tried to figure out the buttons without reading the manual. But I'm not going to write a book explaining the controls here. I maxed out the resolution, like I believe most people will, The forward facing camera is excellent! The inside camera is not so great. I'm sure it will protect you in court, but good luck getting any kind of facial recognition unless it's daytime and the passenger is in the front seat. But, that is the nature of a small hidden camera. It's made very discrete and low profile, no one will be able to tell it's there, unless they know what they are looking for. Sound quality is very good also. The display screen only comes on when you start the car, but you can set the camera view to only show forward. If anyone is in the car and sees it, you can just tell them its a dash cam in case someone cuts you off, they don't ever have to know that there is another camera facing into the vehicle or that their voice is being recorded. Also, with Ubering 6-8 hours a day and 128GB card, you can get around 5 days of footage with the resolution maxed out.

Quality of the camera could be better! But works just fine.

I have never had a camera for my car before. The camera/video in this one is great. It’s clear. The night vision was great. When I watched the video t was fun to see the birds out there playing during the day. This has been a great purchase with all that goes on in the in world of driving these days

This dash cam is a total waste of money. The 2 occasions I really needed it, no footage was available. The first, I was a witness to an accident where a reckless driver hit someone and without my video footage the one getting hit was actually in the wrong. When I went to find the recording on the memory card, I found that it had stopped recording a few weeks earlier due to the card being full, and it did not overwrite anything.The second time it was a crooked cop trying to place me in a completely different area where the speed limit was lower. I took the memory card out to find that footage to use as evidence, and it wasn't recording even though the display showed that it was. This is now resulting in a huge fine because it's the cop's word against mine.

The only thing I don’t like is you can not turn the screen on the mirror! But picture quality is very good

The main reason for buying this product was the cabin camera additional to the front camera, but once I checked the recorded video of the interior/cabin camera is absolutely low quality, very bad quality, It was a disappointment to me, I did expect a decent quality like 720p (although I'd like a 1080p) on it, it's a VGA resolution, no no no, ... I don't liek it at all, and I did realize that it sometimes gets turned off immediately the car gets turn on, and the mirror doesn't respond on any button, until it's unplugged/plugged in back again. It's a shame to me, because I gave my trust on it, but I got these two aforementioned results.I've been using this product for 1 month now.
