Absolutely Amazing SACD - as good or better than the vinyl
I bought this to hear the SACD version on my McIntosh SACD player. It is perhaps one of the clearest and best sounding Dire Straits albums. The mastering is very good and instruments separation and sound stage is fantastic.

This album is simply the best out of Dire Straits repertoire. Packaging needs to be improved. One corner of the vinyl outer cover has given way, damaging the beauty of the magnificent cover.Otherwise, prompt delivery.

Spirited on time deliverySuperb SACD title with accurate, immersive 5.1 mix. Though not recorded originally in 5.1, album has been re-mastered faultlesslyPlay it on a well setup Surround system and this will blow you away. Diverting. Won't feel like switching off.Get a really musical fast subwoofer like a Velodyne or B&W sub or better yet get a pair.

It did give a nostalgic feeling listening to Dire Straits on vinyl. Enjoyed the experience.

Brilliant album
Sound quality is quite good which isn't something I can say about a lot of cd's these days. Mark knoffler's voice comes on with a good depth and the guitar solo's just sing if you get my drift.

Great packaaging for a great album
Love this album, needed to add it to my Vinyl collection! If you're a Dire Straits fan for sure add this to yours as well, and if you're someone who loves rock, progressive rock, or loves hearing guitars jamming out this may be for you. It also came in packed very securely and safe, no worries for the record to be bent or ruined.
