The POE model is EX2200-C-12P-2G. You can find the model numbers at http://www.juniper.net/techpubs/en_US/release-independent/junos/topics/reference/general/ex2200-model-numbers.html **Q: Will this do mpls?** A: It is my understanding that, as of Junos version 9.3, m.p.l.s. switching is not supported on EX ethernet switches. However, version 9.3 is not the current operating system. I am not knowledgeable about the latest operating system. **Q: Does the usb port work with usb hubs to power usb devices?** A: Yes. But it just over one amp; enough to power a raspberry pi. I do not recomend charging your phone with it. If you do, it would take a while. **Q: I'm not completely clear on differences between routers and layer 3 switches, so please forgive my ignorance. But can this switch do PAT(NAT overload)** A: Since NAT is a layer 4 function, you need a firewall. This switch will not do it as it only does Layer 2 and 3. Check SRX210 and run it in flow mode (default). Layer 3 switch will do routing and switching.
