I bought this camera despite some lousy reviews. I LOVE it and everything that came with it. Love the camera bag, have used it and have no problem carrying 3 lenses plus the one on my camera. I pack a lot of the little things as well. I did have one problem. The battery did not charge. So, I bought a new one, made contact with the Seller and we resolved this matter amicably and efficiently. I called Canon, at their request, and after a few short questions Canon is sending me a new battery. The Seller is sending me a new battery charger, just in case that was not working correctly, and gave me a $20 refund on the battery.I am taking great photos with this camera, so crisp and clear. A BIG difference from the Nikon P90 I had been using. I teethed on a Pentax Spotmatic 1970 body - fully manual camera. This Canon is such a treat and I am having a blast with it. The learning curve is quite quick. So if you are looking for a new camera and are starting out, I would highly recommend this one and bravo to the Seller for taking such good care of me.

Bought this for filmmaking - it is the first high-quality camera I have ever owned. I can say, without doubt, that it is fantastic. The body of the Canon EOS rebel T5 is great because you can attatch, and detatch, so many different kinds of lenses, straps, stands, and accessories to it which is why I bought the camera in the first place also for HD filming and photography.The accessories are AMAZING. I thought, because the accessories came with the price, that they weren't going to be good because they were just extra things added to the package and that they were going to be cheaply made. BUT I WAS WRONG. They are all beautifully made products, even if they are refurbished, still such a great collection of lenses and the stand is good as well. Very happy with this purchase. Also the bag it comes with is very sturdy, well made, and will protect my awesome new camera perfectly.Ive never been this happy with a purchase ever. Cant wait till I actually know how to use all of it but overall great package for the price!GO BUY IT! ITS WORTH IT.

Great camera and good kit. A lot of good how to videos out there. If your first camera learn all you can and talk to people. There are newer models out, but this is a great starter. You can always trade in the body and upgrade, not having to change out lens. Only negative is the fact that I keep buying accessories. Such as; remote shutter release, mirror lens, taller tripod, natural density filters, extended battery power, and a few more things. Just make sure you carry with you. Does no good sitting at home. Have a good time.

What an amazing camera bundle. Quick delivery as promised. I have taken some really nice photos already and am very eagerly awaiting air show year 2016, comets and meteors showers this year. I had a 10 year old Canon EOS Rebel XTi but the ISO only went to 1600. It did the trick but this Canon EOS Rebel T5 awakened my photographic senses to a whole new level.

I don't know how I went so long without a decent camera... I waited forever to even get myself a smart phone since I didn't want to get into a phone contract. I am so glad I bought this, it arrived right before my trip to Montana and Yellowstone! I got 450 pictures to remember the trip by!I have learned now that if I want to be Marty Stouffer and get nice pictures of animals from a distance, I will need a much larger lens. This is great for family pictures and other scenes that you can get close to.

Very impressed with the package! This is my first real DSLR, and I've been looking forward to the upgrade for a long time.Yes, some of the stuff I wouldn't have purchased on my own, but for the price, I'm using enough of this kit for it to be worth it.This is an entry-level DSLR with kit lenses, so if you're an advanced or at all professional photographer, this is not going to seem like a good deal, but for starting out or the financially challenged such as myself, it's a satisfactory starter kit.The only issue was that the external flash crapped out on me immediately, but the company sent me a new one free of charge. I'll probably end up replacing some of the peripheral things & upgrading to better lenses eventually, but this was well worth it for me for now.

So I bought this about a year ago for father's day and my dad is really just barely using it and posting pictures to fb. Part of the reason I think it took a year was because the canon brand charger would not charge the battery, only the rapid-charge off-brand charger. And the box came torn on a corner which worried me. Everything looked fine and was in the box though! I don't know about $500 for it, but I think it was $450 or so when I bought.The mountain was pretty far away, and he used telephoto. My dad says the air wasn't too clear. He used the telephoto for some of the others too.

Not only was this a great deal, it was, in fact, a better than expected deal. I am a cautious buyer so I was nervous about whether this bundle would be as fabulous as the picture and description described. It was absolutely perfect. Every lens and add-on was included, every bonus was present and accounted for. There are a couple of the least necessary extras that are not specifically intended for a camera but work nonetheless. For example, the "lens cleaner & cloth" are in fact a cell phone screen protector and included the screen protectors and the little squeegee to remove the bubbles from under the protector. But still, the spray cleaner and cloths work as intended so I just tossed the squeegee and protectors.All in all I highly recommend this bundle. No complaints.
