A Misleading Title
I would like to start out by saying that I have lived out of a 1982 VW Vanagon for periods ranging from a few weeks to as long as the greater portion of the year as my children have grown up until they are now all young adults, affording me the freedom of one less schedule to adhere to. I first bought what is fondly known as "The Putterin' Pumpkin" (named so by one of my children when quite young...lol) back in 1998 in mint condition with the hope that my children who had not inherited my love of roughing it in the great outdoors would enjoy adventures travelling in a fully camperized van. Once they had their own little areas of storage, their own sleeping areas, etc and slowly adjusted to the many differences between living in a home (or hotel even) and a van we had many years of memorable adventures, sometimes living together in the van for the whole summer, in the woods, as well as exciting destinations that ranged from Alaska to Mexico and throughout the Rocky Mountains. The reason I chose to open my review with my own experience is to ensure people understand that I do know what it is like to live out of a vehicle. No bathroom, no shower or bathtub, a very tiny kitchen area, no washer or dryer, cramped quarters if the weather is poor, minimal lighting to read or play games by at night, and learning how to make all these potential problems become challenges we all learned to work around and not lose our pleasure of life in an unconventional home for weeks or months at a time! It takes adjustment, some innovation, and a desire to do it, but I, my sons, and a few of my friends have all adopted this as a lifestyle we love and could never imagine giving up!This book does not address how to live in camperized vehicle in general, but it definitely does not do so in one that has few frills or luxuries. It doesn't help a person new to this idea figure out issues like the lack of a toilet or shower or laundry facilities, some thoughts that don't even occur to a person new to this way of life until they are feeling sweaty and tired after their very first day of driving to ones destination, want nothing more than a hot meal, a warm shower, and some rest only to suddenly realize there is no shower... Just one example of many that would in my opinion fall under How To Live The Simple Motorhome Life. I saw this book free and wanted to see if the author had any tips or ideas I could use to potentially increase my already very comfy van life that meets all of my needs from showering to laundry after years of innovation or tips from those much more clever than I, regardless of whether I am hooked up to power or in the middle of nowhere. The only skill to help one live this life as full time as they choose in this book is the good information at the end regarding how with a laptop computer and a connection to the internet many people are working from their homes on wheels making it possible for them to continue to do so for as long as they desire.I think this book would be more aptly titled "RV Living For Beginners: How To Choose The Right Vehicle To Live A Simple Motorhome Life". The abundance of great information on the many different types of vehicles one can live out of, along with the clarity of the breakdown between the many options available are what brought this book from a one star to a three star. In that regard the information provided is excellent and would surely be an asset in helping someone who has maybe thought of the freedom of living out of motorhome, but has never actually done so. One last comment, while there is a photo of a beautiful, older style camperized VW van, I did not see any information on what a person would get if they were to start off at that very low end, money wise, of the options out there and whether it is an older one in good condition or one of the newer ones that VW continues to offer it would be nice to see some information for those who just can't afford a larger, more luxurious vehicle. All in all a great guide to choosing the right vehicle for anyone who wants to live a carefree, simple life where one can change the view from their bedroom window simply by driving to a different place to call home and if that was the title I would say job well done and give this book four stars. However as a guide of how to actually live this lifestyle, with no tips or ideas that address things like no shower, no toilet sometimes, no laundry facilities, etc. I can not give it more than one star, but am choosing to give it three based on the quality of content on the many choices one has to choose from, and a strong hope that the author will reconsider the title.

A to-the-point overview and how-to of RVing
I guess that you could call this a "book"; after all we call comic books "books" and not "magazines". I don't have much of a squawk with the book's content, but suffice it to say that things are kept brief, rudimentary, and to the point. There are a lot of good basic tips, but not much in the way of comparisons and examples of different ways of doing things in an RV. Still, if you're a newbie just starting to think about the RV lifestyle it's not a bad fifteen to twenty-ish (traditional 8.5x11) pages of information presented without the obvious bias of some of the other amateur-authored Kindle "books" on RVing. Those books, and there are a few of them, spend far too much time justifying the author's lifestyle choices. This one, as Sgt. Joe Friday would say, gives you, "Just the facts ma'am. Just the facts." (Whew, I dated myself with that one!) The author has done a good job of distilling things down to the absolute essence of what you need to think about before you start into RVing. While some have complained about the price of this and other Kindle DIY "books", I'd have to say that this one is worth the $2.99 I paid for it. The larger philosophical discussion is whether most of the other Kindle offerings at the same price are worth it as I've felt a bit cheated from time to time, to say the least. But I digress....

Only appropriate for someone totally new to RV camping
Might be okay for someone just starting out camping and who has bad eyesight. Book content is lacking and the information that is provided is too brief to be of any practical use. Description says 38 pages total, but only saw listing of up to 35 pages. And page 35 is also blank. And I can't seem to locate page 36, 37, or 38 unless they are counting the back cover. The last page with words on it is page 34. As one other reviewers stated, the font is pretty large. If you want to know how large the type face is, think magnified pages. As an example, I counted the number of words on page 13 which had a full page of words on it, and page 13 only had a total of 138 words on it. And I was counting all the "a", "of", "an" etc. That is normally the number of words in a single paragraph of an average book. I can't really give this book a one star rating, cause there is a purpose for this "book" if you can call it a book, as it is more of a short story or summary. If you have bad eye sight and have difficulty reading anything other than really large text, then this is your book. Or if you have a short attention span and want a book that you can finish reading in 15 minutes or less. Or if you have never stepped inside a camper and have no clue what an RV is or what is inside of one, then this is your book. Otherwise I would recommend a book like "RV Vacation for Dummies" also sold on Amazon. Luckily I purchased this second book as well on Amazon, as that book has pretty much 90 percent of the information of this book, in just the first few chapters.

Very Short.
Not a book. More like a booklet.

Just what I needed
When one of my friends was discussing about how buying a home was expensive and would put them into a sea of debt, I was thinking out loud if going the RV way was a probably alternative option. With birthday around the corner, I did a quick research on RV lifestyle for beginners and came across this well-written and thoroughly detailed book. After reading through a few more books, I thought this one was written well and just what I needed! If you want to know about RV lifestyle, look no further!

Far too basic
I had hoped for a lot more information on the practical day to day living in an RV. I am just about to embark on this adventure myself and this didn't really help. I was disappointed.
