Good travel tripod
Pretty good. I bought it because would fit into my flight case. For me dual purpose, spotting scope for birdwatching or DSLR and middling telephoto. Seems okay for both. I also use it preference to my manfrotto 055 if I'm doing a bit of table top stuff or in the garden.

Compatibility Issues
l really liked this tripod (Befree Advanced Twist Lock - Carbon), but l had to send it back due to a major issue.- (This problem stems from the 'poorly' design FTZ adapter, Nikon's fault):If you're a Nikon user and you use both FTZ adapted and (z) non-adapted lenses, then this tripod is not for you. The problem is the plate. You cannot mount the plate on the camera while using the FTZ adapter. If you mount the plate on the FTZ adapter and then want to use a 'z mount' lens, you need to reattach the plate to the camera. This defies the whole 'quick release' idea.- This tripod's plate is compatible with Arca-Swiss but not the way around: Manfrotto (plate) to Arca-Swiss (head): Yes. Arca-Swiss (plate) to Manfrotto (head): No.Manfrotto should be a lot more clear on this. As it stands, Manfrotto's description of the product, while true, may easily lead to misunderstandings (the many reviews critizising this proves Manfrotto should work on this product's descrition).- If you want to use other devices (like a b-roll camera or sound recorder) on this tripod, you have to buy a Manfrotto plate for each of them. Not a big deal, but an added cost.- If you like to use L-brackets with your camera, you cannot use them with this tripod.I wanted to 'upgrade' from my Manfrotto Elements Carbon to this Befree Advance Carbon looking for longer legs (= less twist locks to operate). Unfortunately, doing so leaves me unable to swipe adapted/non-adapted Nikon lenses without having to remove the plate from the adapter onto the camera and viceversa. This is a deal breaker for me.- The center column twist lock is really bad. Other reviewers have mentioned it, but l thought it was the typical 'internet exaggeration': well it's not. It's really bad. It does not stand to Manfrotto quality standards (and l don't know how Manfrotto could release this unit with such a poor center column lock implementation. It really is that bad).As always, if you've never have any other quality tripod and you buy this one, you'll likely think it's amazing. IMO, that explains all the 5 stars reviews. Otherwise, the moment you use the center column lock once, you already know you need to remove 1 star from the rating as it's so poorly implemented. If your use case scenario is different than mine (you don't swipe Nikon z/FTZ lenses) and you plan on not touching the 'center column lock' (just leave it in one position and only occasionally operate it), then really, you can buy this tripod with confidence as it really is a great one! Otherwise: The search continues! And l'll keep using my Elements Carbon, which by the way is excellent (just a bit too short legs, which brings the benefit of being so compact).I hope this helps boys!

Good travel option
A lightweight option, good for travel.Despite the lightweight, the payload of this tripod is decent. Able to accomodate a SLR and decent sized lens with ease, the ball head is easy to maneuver.Obviously, this tripod is a compromise. If you shoot primary is a studio environment, this is not for you, but for travel and occasional use, it is excellent.

Prodotto top!
Semplicemente magnifico. Il miglior treppiede di sempre. Leggero, pratico, stabile e molto versatile. Esteticamente molto bello, il prezzo elevato è giustificatissimo.

Hervorragend verarbeitet
