Thrustmaster Y-300 CPX Rainbow 6 Siege Edition (PS5, PS4, XBOX Series X/S, One, PC)

My original review said this did not work for the Xbox series S. BUT.....I was wrong. 🤦 I had the chat volume up and it wouldn't let you hear the game. So once we figure it out we realized they actually DO work. And they work wonderful!

I got them from Amazon warehouse in about three weeks later microphone stopped working on it try to get Thundermaster to see if they would honor the warranty and they did not because they said it was used but Amazon took them back I thought open box items from a retailer was in the gray area

My ears are still ringing from the sound! Wow.Pros1. Sound: Simply put, it's great. With the price of these, you just can't go wrong. I'm dead serious. Rap sounds pristine, and Dubstep hits decently hard! Now, don't expect monster bass from a headset, but if you will be listening to bass heavy tunes, these headphones will mostly do the job; especially when you consider the price. Sure, these don't hit the same as a pair of $300 headphones, but why would you expect them too? These are amazing. The sound is crisp and intense. I did have to make some adjustments in the properties though. For instance, I turned on the "Virtual Surround" and a "Bass Boost"2. The build is very typical of other headsets at this price point. Nothing feels out of whack, or cheap. While the plastic isn't the most sturdiest thing, these aren't exactly meant to be dropped. Will this survive a drop or 2? Probably. More than that? Not likely. Treat these with care, and things should be fine.3. Artwork should last a while. It doesn't feel cheap or anything like that. The inside of the ear-cups will likely wear out before the rest, but I didn't get these for the artwork. Fans of Siege should love them.Cons1. Cords!! Cords Everywhere!! Be sure to use a zip tie or something else, to wrap up any extras.2. Sometimes, there is a slight feedback or hum/scratch, when no other sound is present. I can also sometimes hear it with other sounds going. The issue, I believe, is where the cord from the headphone connects into the main USB cord. You can see it in the picture I'll attach. If you twist it around, it can kind of stop the noise a bit and it'll be mostly quiet. I considered giving it 4 stars, due to this, but then I'm reminded that this is a $60.00 headset, and not $300. It's certainly not enough to distract from game-play or music listening.Now, neither con nor pro for me, but the mic isn't all that great. It's perfectly usable, mind you, but the quality is a little lacking. Personally, I'm not one to really care about the quality of the mic, but I'm sure there are folks out there that do. All I care about is being able to tell my squad-mates where the enemy location is, and for them to be able to hear it. If you're a bit more concerned about the quality of the mic, then you may want to look elsewhere.If, however, you are looking for some great sound, then these would be a very worthy purchase. My primary concern is my child listening to the sound too loud, now. I think I'll go into the properties and tweak the levels, when he's sleeping.Shhh. Don't tell him I said that.

I bought this for my son because he's a huge fan of Rainbow Six Siege. He loves it. I finally tried it out on my PC and it's quite possibly one of the worse headset I've ever used.My complaints:The mic picks up EVERYTHING and I can hear myself talking too.My ears started to feel pinched after a few hours of using it.Friends said I sounded like I was talking through a tunnel.The good thing:Easy to adjust the volumesMaybe it's different on the PS4 and Xbox, but it's definitely not worth the money if you're using it on PC.

I tried using this headset on my Xbox because my turtle beach headset is years old. When looking in the description there was no photos that showed the long unnecessary cords that went along with the headset. I simply was looking for a headset that I could simply just plug into my controller without any other factor. With this headset I could plug into my controller and use it and talk in parties but there was no mute button and if I wanted a mute button I had to plug the long cord in which then didn’t even let me plug that into my controller. I should’ve looked at more reviews when purchasing this item. I suggest people who aren’t new to Xbox to stick to headsets that you’ve experienced has worked in the past (I suggest turtle beach headsets) and stick with that unless other sellers include better descriptions.

These gamer headphones are great. They deliver noticeably clear sound and the ear pads are very soft. The mic is attached right where you can talk into it without it being in my way. It has connectors to use it for an array of other games such as PS3, PS3 and xbox 360.

Kiddo blasts through headsets fast. Not sure how he breaks so many but this one has been beaten and is still going strong a month later. Great sound, clear audio, and plug and play. Comfortable to wear for extended time (like the 48 hour binge he just did) and not have a sore head.

Got this today. It says it is compatible with PS4 which is true if you plug the headset piece directly into the controller and not the other piece which houses the controls (mute/vol) the cords that come with it are for Xbox and PC. The sound is pretty good but for this price I want to use mute and volume controls. Sending it back.
