IT Cosmetics Celebration Foundation Illumination - Full-Coverage, Anti-Aging Powder Foundation - Blurs Pores, Wrinkles & Imperfections - 0.3 oz

I've been using this product for several years now. I was gifted some "Bare Minerals" makeup for Christmas and ran out of this. While waiting on the new arrival of my IT product I used the "Bare Minerals". There is a significant difference of the weight of the makeup when applied. Also, it broke me out every time I would wear the "Bare Minerals" product and the "IT" I've never had a problem with breakouts. The coverage of the IT is amazing also!

I've used IT Celebration Foundation Illumination powder foundation for several years but this was the first time I ever ordered it on Amazon. My aging, dry skin loves this powder - it's the only powder foundation that does not dry out my skin or make me look even older. One of the pluses of using this IT makeup is that the compact comes with an IT makeup brush, which in my opinion are the best makeup brushes you can buy. HOWEVER, this compact from Amazon had a brush (see right side of photo) but it wasn't the usual IT makeup brush (see left side of photo) that has come with every previous compact of this makeup I've bought. The brush that was included is NOT an IT makeup brush. It's smaller and the bristles have a plasticky feel. I feel a little cheated.

This compact foundation has a gorgeous finish and is not drying or cakey on my winter skin. I greatly prefer powder foundations for portability and convenience and reapplying. I would describe the coverage as medium, which is about the highest you are going to get from any powder foundation. My bar for “full coverage“ is KVD Lock-It.I was frustrated to realize it does not contain SPF, because it was a top search result for ‘compact foundation SPF.‘ I should have paid better attention, but because IT does have SPF in a lot of their makeup, I missed it. Either It Cosmetics should stop targeting this search term for this product or Amazon should stop matching it.Even though I bought it as something to be used for “topping up” sun protection, I’m keeping this because it’s my fault and it is an excellent product that does what it says.

Tried other brands but keep returning to this one.

I have many IT Cosmetics products but this is by far my favorite! I hate the feel of wearing any makeup but this was so lightweight I didn’t feel itchy and uncomfortable! I am a minimalist makeup wearer, so this is perfect for my lifestyle. I love the sheen and it really brightens up my face. I found the coverage great, two layers was all I needed. The only downside is it does not contain SPF but I have plenty of tubes so I used it under this powder makeup and it allowed the makeup to really adhere and then I buffed it in nicely with a foundation brush. I used an IT Cosmetics Heavenly Skin brush #704.
