Its a good cheap keyboard
I like the mouse which is very responsive and the keyboard is very nice too though it does take a while to get used to for the price it is hard to complain. Both devices feel soft and comfortable for useUPDATE: After a few weeks of use the keyboard is much more responsive and the keys are far less clunky as of when new. Only thing is sometimes i press the 1 key and it presses several times though this is not a big issue. The mouse is still very nice4*UPDATE: Its been a little over the year and the issue with the 1 key is 90% gone, sometimes occurs but usually fine. Overall very responsive and no problems. I had to change the batteries in the mouse once though the keyboard batteries are still working with the batteries they came with. Overall for the price the keyboard is great5*

OK but ...
In many ways this is a nice keyboard to use: not clacky but equally not soft. However what I do find is that they keys do need more pressure (and a relatively long travel) than many keyboards, so it is too easy when typing to end up with missing letters; it's fine if you take care, but not if you're trying to type fast. I also like that the keyboard is relatively small (especially front to back) and without all the extraneous keys and plastic case that Logitech, Microsoft et al. provide -- that's good for desk space. The mouse is relatively small, which is OK for me. Again what I find is that if my hand goes from keyboard to mouse, the mouse often scrolls the screen (usually backwards) a few lines. This dioesn't seems to be related to fingers accidentally touching the mouse buttons. This I find annoying, and often confusing.Without these key and scroll issues this would be a very comfortable product and I would have given it 5 stars.

Beware used (very) keyboard sent out - also the keyboard and mouse pack need 2 USB ports
Unbelievable to receive in a new box a very worn out keyboard, nice oily marks on space bar etc. Not good enough Amazon and now a waste of my time sending this back! This was not Amazon Warehouse etcBeyond my obvious disgust at this practice, please note that even though I bought this as a keyboard and mouse combination, these came separately, and each had its own USB dongle. This is not an issue for me, but will be for many users who have limited USB ports.

Great keyboard, ok mouse
KEYBOARD: The keyboard is great. I love the fact that it's full size, and it has lights for caps, num lock and a battery-low indicator. Most importantly for me, the key's are very quiet - as quiet as you can get for a laptop. The wireless connection works well, with no delay between typing and the words appearing on screen.MOUSE: The mouse is also very quiet, and has an on/off switch (handy for me when I travel as I can chuck it in my bag knowing it won't be clicking and draining the battery while I'm travelling). It also has a slot for the USB receiver to be stored in if needed (which is beneath the battery cover). However, the down side is it's very small - too small for me to use comfortably on a long-term basis. it's a shame they've cut costs here by reducing materials, if they'd have scaled it up to a full size mouse it would be perfect. Also, the scroll wheel is smooth, which isn't ideal, I'd prefer it if it was ridged so you can grip it better.Although not perfect, you can't complain for the price. The items are a bargain.

Very poor product
I replaced my Microsoft wireless keyboard with this one about 3 months ago, because it was the 2nd MS one I'd had where the painted letters rubbed off in the first few months and (not being a touch typist) I sometimes hit the wrong key! This one has been poor from the start and I have finally decided I can't bear the waste of time much longer. The feel, layout and everything else about this keyboard are fine, but it keeps missing letters, so I have to double-check everything I've typed and add them back in! I suspect it's the Bluetooth function, but I have the receiver "dongle" within 20cm of the keyboard - exactly where it was for the MS ones, and that was never a problem until the battery was almost flat.

Awful Product
Usually refrain from making reviews but this product is absolutely shoddy and the hassle around sending it back means I'm writing this:1) Non responsive keys - Keys often miss recognising a keystroke, which results in going back and editing your sentences frequently. Even worse for the space bar, if you don't hit it in the middle, it will barely recognise it as the point of recognition seems to be in the middle on a pivot point.2) No Keyboard Off Button - Keyboard has NO OFF SWITCH/BUTTON. If you want your keyboard dying pronto, or buying a tonne of batteries then choose this product.3) Poor plastic feel and design - top part of the keyboard is glossy black and attracts a tonne of scratches from little to no use. General feel of the keyboard is lacklustre and cheap.Ended up buying the logitec MK295 Wireless Mouse and Keyboard combo for £10 more (£30 total) and the difference is huge. Don't go for this Amazon Basic, as the offering is truly basic and designed at best for a very elderly person looking to access their windows 95 PC on the weekend to read The Times. If you want to use this for work, STAY AWAY.

Scroll lock and KVM switch problem
I bought this combo mouse and keyboard to operate with a two port KVM switch such that by pressing scroll lock twice I could easily switch between my two PC's - just as I was doing with my wired keyboard and mouse. However no matter what I try the KVM switch will not recognise the scroll lock and switch monitors. All my other wired keyboards work fine, so I have to conclude there's something not quite right with the scroll lock implementation.Other than that it's good value for money - just a shame it has this KVM problem which is why I give it only 3 stars.EDIT - seems that it's a known problem that KVM switches don't play well with wireless keyboardss o it's a KVM problem. I've upgraded my review to 5 starts
