Clear, crisp images
The Moon is probably the easiest way to get started on night sky observing. Any newbie can do it with simple binoculars. I order these to sell on our Sales Table at our astronomy club. I like the image because it's a black-and-white photo of the moon, not a drawing. The image is clear, clean, sharp. My one complaint is that the legend for identifying individual items is a bit tedious. All the "m" objects are Mons, meaning mountains. Thus 21m is Mons Pico, which you find by moving from the mountain's label on the map to the table on the side flap that has all the Mons listed. It's a little work, but nothing a few moments of figuring it out can't solve, and then you're on your way. Also, the map is plasticized so it won't wrinkle in the night's damp air.

Great reference for telescope moon gazing
I liked the fact that it's laminated and has all the moon features marked for easy identification. Man and probe landings as well as names of craters.

Great map. Very detailed visually
Great map. Very detailed visually. Easy to follow the mirror image map with my 80 mm refractor. I wish more crater names were identified.

Easy to read
Pro: Easy to read. Nice detail and shows landing spots of all Apollo and lunar probes. Lists names of craters and mares.Con: A little pricey for a 2 sided laminated map.

A Complete Waste of Money
I was expecting the map to be actually laminated, not just shiny stiff paper. I also expected the map to unfold. The map is 11 in. by 11 in. Orion has watermarked both the Correct and Reversed maps across the middle with its name. The product might be okay for a kid with a toy telescope, but not for anyone wanting some detail. Seriously, For the same price you can get Sky and Telescope's laminated map that details 1,000 features and is 24 in. by 24 in. Sorry, Orion, but this goes back!
