Sew-Link Needle Threader for Brother CE5000, CE5000PRW, CE5500

Price was great. Product works great. Only bad thing about this is it's a pain in the butt to put back on my machine.

The needle threader on my Brother machine was not working anymore. I ordered this one and installed it in about 60 seconds. The old one unclips and the new one slides in place. It works great!

Best fitting replacement threader. Blessed me as I've been self threading for a while and doing it painstakingly manually. So glad that I bit the bullet and our based this replacement part for my brother project runway sewing machine c5500

Didn't hold up. Broke after 2 uses.

My original needle threader that came with my sewing machine broke off so this one looked like it was a universal style so I tried it on, It worked like magic. At first I had to straighten the needle catcher a little bit because it was offset from the factory but using a tweezer, I was able to twist it back to be set right in the center and the threader worked well. I could not use my sewing machine without this automatic threader.

After studying photos of the replacement part, and not seeing any method of attaching or securing the part, I just applied downward pressure on the damaged part and it easily popped off the shaft. Seeing the flat on the mounting shaft and the matching hole on the part, I was reasonably confident in ordering the new part. It went on as I had hoped, and the threader section lined up perfectly with the needle hole. No qualms about re-ordering and installing if necessary in the future.

My threader broke. I checked Amazon had one. Got it. Went on less than 5 minutes. Works perfectm

Original 5 star review:I was skeptical but it actually works. I sew a lot and was devastated when the original broke. I didn't realize how spoiled I'd become with having the automatic threader LOL. It was taking several minutes to thread the needle, apparently I'm getting older and can't see the hole very well. I was so happy with this purchase I bought two.Update 12/13/21:3 months later it broke just like my original that lasted 4 years. Yes I use my machine on a daily basis but you would think it would last longer than 3 months. Good thing I bought 2 or I'd be waiting for a replacement. Hence the demotion to a 3 star rating. If the next one breaks after 3 months it will become a 1 star review.

This needle threader part is replaceable which is great. I see different designs in more expensive machines, so maybe there's a more robust solution out there. Good price for next day delivered when I was borrowing the machine and the old threader snapped apart...
