Esbilac Milk Replacer For Puppies 8Oz

High-quality milk replacer, I won’t use any other as it doesn’t give the baby puppies diarrhea like some other brands. Worth the price and convenience of being already mixed up in cans. Can be used to feed orphan puppies, supplement ones not getting enough milk if the mother dog has too many puppies to feed or not enough milk, and mixed in with puppy kibble to create a weaning gruel. I used it to mix a puppy gruel for a stubborn little boy who refused to stop nursing long after weaning time (his mother was very permissive even though he had sharp little teeth and she had little milk). Simply mixing the milk replacer with soaked puppy kibble peaked his interest, and he started devouring the food soon after that. I gradually reduced the amount of Esbilac, and he continued to eat the moist food until he was (and is) totally on dry puppy food. Success!

One of the best milk replacers on the market. I mix it with some puppy food to help in the weaning process as well as using it to supplement a mom not producing enough milk. It is "Picky Puppy Approved". I like that it stays good in the refrigerator for a little while as we have small dogs so a can can last a couple of feedings. I zap it inthe microwave to make it slightly warmer than room temp to entice puppies to eat.

My moms 20-year old pom has few teeth left and wasn't eating much food. Our vet recommended that we supplement his diet with formula and within weeks his coat was shinier, he had more energy and his weight was normal again. We used to go to our local pet store for this when it's on sale but it hadn't been discounted in some time. It was great to be able to order a large quantity at a great price and have it delivered straight to my parents home so they didn't have to lug it around.

Box was not damaged but 7 damaged cans dented bad to point I did not feel safe giving to newborn puppies.

Momma dog had a C section and couldnt feep the pups without them hurting her so we bought the puppy milk and it worked great. They still rather have mommas milk but this one didnt give them an upset tummy.

This product is a life saver for many orphaned animals - not just dogs.

It was only 1 tiny can..I expected it to come in a bin of powder. Expensive if you need it for more then one time emergency.

Scam!! What arrived is NOT what is advertised ! Tiny can you would use for a fizzy drink with what looks like an incorrect and completely different from photo image stuck on it all in Japanese. I use esbilac often and what they are advertising is not what they are sending.
