Great flashlight, few minor annoyances....
Love this little light. So tiny yet so powerful.I ordered the brass version and it did not disappoint visually. The lights are very well put together and come nicely presented in a box with accessories including a lanyard and CR123A cell. The modes have altered slight from the original S1 Baton, moonlight is now remembered in the memory, and the modes seem to switch more rapidly when holding the button. Overall is a great flashlight and I carry it with me every day.I only have two minor annoyances with this light. - The stepping down feature bugs me. Sure, 550 lumens is a great selling point, but you can literally only use this for a minute before the light becomes incredibly hot, and after around 1.5 mins the light starts stepping down and is putting out 300 lumens, which it can do then constantly for around an hour. So really, IMHO, it is a 300 Lumen light. - My S1 Baton titanium version seems to handle the heat better than this model on the higher modes. This one has become very warm in the hand, almost to point where I don't like to hold it anymore.NB - I also discovered HIGH mode on this light doesn't work with the standard Olight RCR123A dark green batteries, only the light turqouise ones intended for the S1R as they can handle the high current. The protection circuit trips in the standard batteries meaning you have to remove them from the flashlight to reset them. I've also discovered Nitecore 750MaH batteries work great in it too and do not trip out.

Powerful (and good looking!).
Wonderful little light! I initially thought this was overpriced but I really liked the look of the copper version and of course I eventually pulled the trigger and ordered it. The torch arrived in its own sturdy little box along with instructions and was exactly the size I wanted for carrying around - some torches you can buy are smaller, but don't have the power of this Olight unit which uses a CR123 battery. It comes with a standard battery but I've since ordered some rechargeable units. There are several light settings, varying in intensity and I found at the highest setting the torch body heats up - not to the extent you can't hold it, but it is noticeable. Obviously lower power settings generate proportionately less heat.I hadn't heard of this brand before but since I bought this unit I've now ordered another Olight model - a rechargeable unit. Not cheap but once again, as with most things in life - you get what you pay for!

Gets hot but still a great torch
This just manages to get 5 stars. The one thing bad about it is that as other reviews have mentioned, the light gets very hot after a couple of minutes on full brightness. Unless you're outside on a very cold day then the torch gets unbearably hot to hold.It also dims to around 300 lumens after 90 seconds on full, BUT pretty much any small torch like this will dim after 1 - 2 minutes because of the heat, so this isn't at all unusual amongst small torches. At least Olight actually mention this unlike other manufacturers. Even at 300 lumens it's still very bright for it's size. Currently at time of this review, you wont find another torch this small and this bright.I have the bead blasted Titanium version and it's build quality is extremely good, even the button feels nice to press. Battery life is excellent too.

Very high quality and extremely portable, waterproof torch.
I've had my Olight S Mini Titanium Polished for a couple of weeks now.The light it emits is bright (530 lumens). This model has a neutral white LED, which provides better colour than the cold white models, although not quite as bright (cold white models give off 550 lumens). The torch seems to be very well made. The finish is very shiny and is resistant to scratching (I've been carrying it in my pocket with my keys and can see no marks or scratches at all so far).I've used it under water with no problems. The very small size of the torch makes it convenient to carry everyday.Batteries seem to last well.I'm using the 3.7volt Olight RCR 123A 650mAh rechargeables and they're great. The torch does get quite warm when used at the brightest setting, but not hot enough to make using it uncomfortable. There are much cheaper torches on the market, but the build quality, brightness and very small size of this torch are excellent and help to justify the high price. In the time I've been using it, my Olight S Mini has really grown on me.I like it more now than I did when it was delivered.

Compact, bright, versatile, tough
This is a compact and powerful little torch. The lighting modes are easily accessible and the memory function works extremely well, I particularly like the moonlight option. It is also tough, mine was inadvertently left in a pocket and survived a full wash and spin cycle unscathed. The only slight quibble I have is the absence of any sort of dedicated lanyard ring, the best I can manage is to put a small split ring through a convenient hole in the pocket clip - perhaps an optional end cap with a lanyard ring could be offered as an extra. This is the first CR123 torch I have bought, normally I use rechargeable 18650 or AA batteries so I also got hold of the Olight Universal Magnetic USB charger.https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B01LWWSDFO/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o06_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Amazing as always but no magnet
Lovely little torch, this is my 4th olight and The only reason I deducted star was so people would read this and take note that unfortunately it hasn't a magnetic base like most of the other olights. For me I missed out on knowing this, and it's one of my favourite features of my s1 and s2 being an electrician.Other than that it's lovely and I can't wait for some patina to form

Awesome
Wow! This little pocket rocket is awesome! Only 550 lumin, but seems A LOT brighter!! It's a little weighty as it's pure copper, but it's not too heavy that's it's annoying in your pocket. Great build quality!
