99.9% as good as genuine Bose pads...
EDIT 12/21/14: I have had a chance to more extensively test these aftermarket pads against the original Bose pads that I ordered at the same time. Although I will not detract any "stars" from my review but I still felt the need to qualify regarding a couple points ... first, as mentioned in the original review .. these pads do not fit *over* the entire ear as well as the original Bose pads; they sort of rest *on* the ear as opposed to fully enclosing it; the Bose pads I ordered fully enclose my ear and do not rest on the ear surface. Further, be it the materials used or the fact that they rest on the ear differently than the more fully circumaural Bose pads, the sound is definitely affected. The original Bose pads yield brighter highs, deeper low frequencies and pretty much just a better, more energetic sound than these after market pads do. I want to be careful to say that you would probably would never notice the difference unless, like myself, you had two pair of TP-1's to directly demo but the fact remains, these aftermarket pads do not sound quite as good as the originals; everything seems a bit flattened out ... highs are slightly dulled and the bass is not as deep and pronounced... Otherwise? I still think these are a fine product and the folk did a good job with them....(original review below)I have two pair of Triport TP-1 headphones and use them exclusively for gaming; they aren't that bad with music but I prefer more high end alternatives for serious music listening (Stax, etc.).But I do enjoy the Triport TP-1's very much for emulated 7.1 surround sound gaming (some of the best 2.1 headphones I've used in that regard, actually) and since both pairs of Triports that I own have failing pads, I decided it was time to replace them.Having read a lot of reviews from the various other third party pad providers, I decided to go with these (mostly because the reviews of other Geekria Bose pads were pretty much unanimously positive).Other more reviewed aftermarket pads had quite a few negative comments along the lines of, "they are too hard," "they change the sound," etc., whereas the Bose replacement pads from Geekria seemed to have way less negative comments, especially regarding pad suppleness and cushioning. So having looked these Geekria pads over quite a bit ... and noting that the mounting process was nearly identical to the stock Bose replacement pads, I decided to give them a shot. Also, at the same time, I bought a pair of genuine Bose replacement pads for my second pair of Triports so as to do a direct comparison. And after having installed both the Geekria aftermarket pads and also the genuine Bose pads on both of my Triports, I can say that the Geekria's are *very* close in overall quality as the original Bose pads, with one minor difference. The Geekria pads are just as pliable and "cush" as the genuine Bose pads (this was a concern of mine); they are not overly "hard" like certain other reviewers have claimed regarding other aftermarket pads and I can tell no real difference in sonic performance, either. They are very soft and the faux leather seems to be of decent quality ... pretty much identical to the Bose provided pads regarding feel of the "pleather" and overall cushioning/softness; they are very comfortable. The only real difference from the Bose originals is that the overall padding isn't quite as thick; the cushioning of the Bose provided pads I received about the same time as these is a bit thicker and also tend to fully encircle my ear more completely than the Geekria pads. The genuine Bose pads easily cover my entire ear whereas the Geekria pads tend to rest more on top of my ear, almost enclosing the full ear but not quite all the way. That said, both pads sound isolate equally well and these minor differences is hair splitting at best. But that last bit is just a minor quibble and I'd highly recommend these if you want a cheaper alternative to the $35 dollar Bose pads. Since I had two pairs of Triports, I decided to try both pads and even though I prefer the slightly more "circumaural" fit of the Bose pads, as well as the slightly thicker padding, I still think the musical performance of either pad is about equal.Definitely a solid aftermarket pad replacement. I also like the fact that they include the layer of filtering with adhesive to cover the drivers with, though I really didn't need that as my own filtering cloth is in decent shape. Still, nice to have on the shelf for future use...BTW: if your interested in the genuine Bose pads, you can get them by emailing Bose directly or calling them on the phone. I personally just started up a "live" support chat off of their website and the rep sent me a link to the purchase page. But yeah, take it from a completely obsessive compulsive audio guy ... the Geekria pads are legit.Cheers!

Improvement in sound
These pads are great. I spend a lot of my day in phones, and the new pads fit very well on the ears, and if anything, brought up the sounds.(which is always one of my fears, when getting new pads for any of my headphones) , really great for Bose TriPorts.

Junk..
They're not even close to the size of the original ear pads. They're smaller. They don't cover the ears well and are NOT noise canceling! Not even a little bit. They came with no directions however I was able to go online and find a informational video. It was easy to do but they dont attach securely. Seems like they could easily fall off. Very disappointing and very cheap. They do look better than my old ones as the had totally fallen apart. I have since looked and can't seem to find any high quality replacements anywhere. Why have a high quality Bose headset if you can't get quality replacement parts. Now the quality is no better than cheap kids headset.

Great replacement pads for Bose TP-1
I finally decided to order replacement ear pads for my Bose TP-1 set after putting up with about a year of ear pad disintegration leaving little black flecks of faux leather everywhere. These replacement pads are great and have the same sound and feel as the original pads. I would highly recommend these and am considering ordering another pair just in case these pads break down over time like the original (bose) pair did.

prompt delivery
I haven't fit them yet because I'm waiting for my originals to crap out completely..which will be very soon. These pads look like the perfect fit for my 10 yr old bose triplet TP-1A headphones. Extremely happy with the product.

Perfect . . .
Arrived a week before they were promised, a two minute job and they fit perfectly bringing back to life my lovely old Bose headphones (a cherished Christmas present from long ago). They come complete with the protective inner membrane, already prepared with double sided tape and - likewise - a perfect first time fit. Just the job!!
