Grip Pliers Galvanized 165 mm, 41 34 165

I'm thrilled with my Knipex. These beautifully made grip-locking pliers have an enormous clamping pressure, yet its teeth will not damage most surfaces. The tool can easily be adjusted and best of all, you're buying German quality of forged chrome vanadium steel that will withstand a heck of a lot of punishment. The tool is galvanized throughout and Knipex's tenacity will outperform most snap-ons. Once deployed, Knipex's release lever not only releases the plier's tension, but also the handle maintains its holding tension, so the item the grips are holding - won't drop out. This is tremendously useful to an engineer. Other grip plier's jaws will spring free, and the item drops to the bench. I bought these to replace a missing pair. Buying this Knipex version at a discount makes for a great bargain. I'm as pleased as Punch. You will be, too.

These are excellent, well built and hold well, lever action is very snappy. highly recommended

Pricey, but works properly as opposed to my cheap vice grips!

This is a quality tool but lost one star as the tip of the grips are void of the machined gripping cuts. Also the knearald adjuster has no lock nut unlike the vice grip ones but i won't buy vise grip now as they are irwin chinese made.

These grips fit my hand really well and the nose is delicate for the tight to reach area but still with loads of strength

Shame really, this is the first Knipex item I have ever bought that is not up to their normal standard. For a start due to its size and weight it feels like a toy. The release lever is badly shaped and doesn't touch the locking arm properly causing it to twist to one side if you put any reasonable pressure on it. The other thing is that the jaws don't line up properly looking end on but worse than that is that when they are closed the back of the jaws shut before the front. The jaws aren't parallel and it's impossible to grip a fine item with the jaw tips. The gap is only perhaps 1/32nd of an inch but is annoying nonetheless. Had high hopes of these but was let down. Pity.

Work well, good size for awkward areas. Strong construction and materials used.

prefect for more precise work, whilst still being robust. Only improvement would be a Screw extractor style grove in the jaws

Tiny set of pliers. Just make sure this is the size you need, quality is very good

The Germans don't muck around. These are seriously good. I knew this because I'd bought a smaller pair before. Postage time was quite good to Australia. You won't go wrong with these...
