This is a great option for replacing standard twist and lock lights that are existing (or for a new install). I had to replace a couple of jammed up old ones - and it was simple enough to connect the wiring into the connector box (perhaps especially nice that they had dual connectors for input wires and clip locks rather than having to mess around with screws). This made it very quick to change it all over - I noticed one of my existing connections didn't have an earth connector either but it didn't seem to limit the device from working. The only real negative for me was the back end of the light seemed a bit wider (by mm) from my existing ones so the spring connector did snap off one side on one of them when pushing it up into the tight ceiling recess - I managed to work around this anyhow to hold it up but something to be wary of!

These are very well made and look the part too! Got two packs to install in my extension and they look fantastic. Only negative is that they come with very strong springs and a couple of them seemed to ping off easily during install. A bit dangerous when they come off, and they are also fiddly to get back on! I would recommend them but be very careful when installing them. Might be best to wear eye protection :D

Came next day as expected. Ordered these for passage and kitchen as I wanted something basic. These perfectly served the purpose. My electrician was not really pleased with the built but the price reflects that. Only downside is the spring grip with ceiling is not great which makes changing of bulb little difficult. Otherwise a great buy.

They came nicely boxed and are in good condition. I have been using for months and am pleased to say the products did work properly. Push in wire connectors were decent quality, and the clips to hold the can in place are good. The bezels fit snugly to the can and the end result is modern and fantastic. Can't go wrong.

Lugs holding the spring arms in place are poor. 8 fitted before the first one failed so beyond the point of no return. Last 2 out the box had the same issue. Had to "engineer" a solution as I was not stripping out the ones fitted and chance destroying the newly plastered ceiling. Fingers crossed they stay up though there is a bit of gapping on one of them but probably only noticeable to me.

Really pleased I bought these spotlights, after reading a few negative reviews I was wary but I am glad I ordered these lightsThey are very well made and easy too install, I am a diy lady and I never had any problems at allYes the spring clips can be a bit awkward but that applies to all spotlights100% recommend

Love these, have used them many times, easy to install, they look great and never had a failure yet.
