I purchased the fitted sheet and the flat sheet along with the two pillow cases. Because these items were lower in price than others of the same type, I really wasn't expecting them to be very good. Let me say I was wrong. I love them. The fitted bottom sheet actually fits and stays on my mattress (other fitted sheets fit loosely and came off the mattress). All the pieces are soft and wash up very nicely. I believe these only came in white, but that was fine with me, as long as they fit good and feel nice I don't care what color they are. I will be buying these 3 items again and would recommend them to anyone looking for an inexpensive and nice set of sheets.

I was looking for a sheet that would provide a tight fit, not another loose sheet that has a ton of wrinkles and that I have to pull on all four corners to remove the wrinkles before I can get in bed each night. I thought this sheet would be the answer, because one of the selling points is that it has "elastic all around (not just the corners, like other sheets)." It also says it "fits mattresses up to 15" thick." My mattress is 14" thick, which fits the criteria, but there's a lot of extra material, which then leaves a bunch of wrinkles all across the top after it's slept in. I was hoping the "elastic all around" would compensate for this problem that I continue to encounter with all sheets. Unfortunately, it doesn't do much good to have "elastic all around" if the elastic is so loose it just hangs loosely down the sides of the mattress. I would not recommend this fitted sheet if your looking for a nice tight smooth fitting sheet. If you have the full 15" inch mattress, then, maybe, but I don't know.

The product is exactly as described. The shipping was expedient, the fit is perfect. The sheets are soft. And the best part is that you can buy in seperates. I have managed to rip two of my bottom sheets to my sateen sheet sets. I believe because I read in bed resting on my elbows and roll a lot in the night looking for the cool spot, I dig my elbows in to lift up and roll. So I bought four of these bottom fitted sheets. Another solid plus with this purchase is the company's concern for my satisfaction. I like that they came to me first to ensure there were no problems with my order. There were not and I am very happy with this purchase, and may just replace the remaining sets with these!!

This is an update to my previous review below; as I said before the fit and construction is greatI---but as I continue to launder with warm water &use cool dryer, in hopes that the fabric will mellow out, the opposite has developed and the sheet now feels rougher, almost scratchy, than when I first received it. Not sure how that's possible--I use the mildest, earth friendly laundry liquids, no additives or artificial softeners, just few drops white vinegar in rinse to remove soap residue and act as natural softener...Not sure why cotton feels rougher, but I'm hoping that with continued use it will become smoother. I wasn't expecting this development and glad it did not cost an arm/leg!!!!!**Orig. review: "I ordered a white Queen size sheet and it arrived on time. It's well made, the stitching is fine & elastic is fabric covered. I washed & dried twice prior to using; the fit is perfect, corners easy put on my 12" mattress and with no puddling or billowing. The fabric seems a bit rough, unlike my good percale sheets, but maybe it will relax with repeated washings.

I love these so much that I will buy Utopia as long as it's available! I liked that I could buy one sheet to replace a ripped other. The first time I slept on this fitted sheet, I didn't want to get out of bed! And that's with JUST the fitted sheet! I agree with one reviewer: the weight and quality is very nice; they are really soft and cool and have a great feel like comfy "hotel" sheets. I'm glad they don't have the "wrinkle-free" additive because I don't think they'd feel the way they do against the skin if it had it! When I make the bed, I just smooth the sheet out once, and it looks good. IF they were very wrinkley, it doesn't really matter since my blanket and spread goes over the bed. I've got four of the pillowcases. I just wish they had a set in TWIN XL. I would buy two sets. I can't find anything in the stores that equal the "PURE cotton, hotel" ingredients (without "wrinkle free) that these have.

I am writing this review to highlight the material used in these products. It clearly states "Mercerized", but I didn't really know what that means. You can look it up and read about it on Wikipedia. It is a process that strengthens and smooths the cotton fibers, and lets them dye more easily. I wanted white so I don't care about that part. What I did notice, was that when you touch the sheets, although not sateen or polyester, that is what came to my mind when I first opened the package. At first I thought, geez, like sateen, I thought these weren't supposed to be sateen, and they aren't. Then I doubted whether they were really cotton. So I found the label, and it states 100% cotton, made in Pakistan. But I still wasn't convinced. These do not feel like any cotton sheets I've ever used. They feel like the sheets I put on a toddler's crib. Then I saw the "Mercerized" label on the packaging. This is also prominently displayed on the webpage. But since I didn't know what that meant, I didn't think anything about it until now. Because the process eliminates exterior stray fibers, they seem really smooth and don't have the soft touch I associate with cotton.Knowing what I know now, and what the sheets actually feel like, I wouldn't have purchased them. But I did, they were fairly cheap, and I'm too lazy to send them back. I guess we'll use them, but if they still feel like when I'm not really thinking about them, I'll probably stick them at the back of the linen closet.Also, as someone else noted, they are fairly sheer, meaning see through. Very thin. Probably because this process makes them stronger for weight and therefore more heft/density not needed. Overall not very satisfied with this purchase.

Certainly not worth the money. Average is the best rating i can consider.
