Works great
First use resulted in succes. Easier than I thought it would be to get a couple nice looking poached eggs in about a minute. Have your toast ready. No messy pan to clean, no fuss, no exploded eggs. We'll be making some Eggs Benedict. Yolks maybe a tad too cooked but I'll adjust time down a few seconds and all eggs are not the same size. This is a good product.

Great, easy-to-use egg poacher
As everyone else has said, it takes a bit of experimenting to get the timing right; in my case, I got it on the second try. So, if you take their timing suggestion and decrease it by 20 seconds, you’ll be on your way. And when you get there, it delivers the perfect poached egg. Super-easy to make and to clean. I love mine.

Great poacher....quick and easy!
So far this is the best egg poacher I have had. You do need to test the timing as they suggest since all of us prefer different egg consistency. I started with the water measured as suggested in the cups, then added the two eggs (I like the egg breaker that is included) and put it on high in the microwave for 45 seconds. Then continued to increased it by 15 seconds...found out my liking calls for 90 seconds. Suggest maybe less if you like a runnier yolk. The eggs just drop out of the cups with ease once you drain the water. And clean-up is also easy since it is made of silicone materials (no BPA). Very pleased with the results...especially for the price!

Barely adequate, keep looking
I love soft-boiled/poached eggs. I hate making them. I need to make two at once which is not possible using the swirl and drop into boiling water technique. This device was recommended to me. It has two compartments, great. My microwave is 1100 watts and the recommended time was 60-70 seconds. I set it for 30 seconds for one large egg as a test. The yolk was semi-cooked/semi-runny and half the white had leaked through the large slots of the "sieve" into the lower compartment and was not recoverable. Nothing stuck to the plastic so it was easy to clean but I didn't get much egg out of it.

Best egg poacher ever!
This is the best microwave egg poacher ever! The included plastic water cup is so handy but the best part is the slotted cup that holds the egg. It is so easy to lift the egg from the poacher and drain the water at the same time. Perfect for adding my poached egg to toast or English muffin for Eggs Benedict!

Could be much better...
Wow, talk about suck!! This piece of plastic is a complete waste of time & $$$ UNLESS YOU WISH TO COOK HARD BOILED EGGS!! No joke - we have a lousy 900 watt microwave, its SO weak, I call it our "easy-bake microwave" ok? I buy this to POACH eggs, I follow the instructions -2 minutes for attempt #1- tho no explosion until out of microwave, both eggs had hard boiled yolks so, I cut the time - jeez! I used 10 eggs adjusting the cooking time each & every attempt - all I got were hard yolks. Look at the sellers "how to" video & pay close attention to the end when they show ya the "payoff" - a perfectly poached egg? NO! Even in their video the end product has a mostly hard yolk- NOT like a true poached egg. Now if hard boiled is your thing, by all means BUY THIS!!

Soft Boiled NOT Poached
I would only get this if you prefer a soft boiled egg. I like a good avocado toast with poached egg. I’ve been trying for over a month to get a real pouched consistency out of this thing and it just doesn’t work. I’ve tried all the suggestions (less water/more water, poking the yokes) and adjusted microwave time from 90 seconds to 60 seconds to even as little as 30 seconds. I figured I must have a super powerful microwave. At 30 seconds, it’s still too raw and I wouldn’t trust eating it. At 40 seconds, it’s a soft boiled egg again. I keep getting the same result: soft boiled. I would have given 5 stars if it ever gave the desired result. It’s easy enough to clean. It’s all plastic so I wouldn’t recommend the dishwasher but it’s easy enough to wipe out quickly. I won’t bother returning it because it does still cook the egg in the microwave but if you really want a POACHED egg, I don’t think this is the device for it. You will be disappointed.
