Will this test detect an e coli urinary tract infection?

It did for me and it has for my mother. But that said, it does not show what bacteria is causing the infection - only that you have one. My doctor sent a urine culture to the lab and e coli came back as one of the infecting agents. The strip used at the doctor's office came back negative even though I had a terrible infection so I trust AZO.

They do have an expiration date. In my experience, you usually have between a year and two years before they are expired. They are very reliable, as far as the test results.

This is for my wife. We can't test while she is urinating, so can we dip the test strips in a sterile collection container?

I have to Cath in a bag so as I'm pouring urine out I run the test strip under it and it works just fine. The only difference between my bags and the container you're probably using is my bags are sterile so I'd make sure you use a clean container so the test isn't contaminated.

Indispensable para detectar infección

Uso estas tiras hace tiempo tanque mi hija es propensa a hacer infección de vías urinarias, así que cuando la comienzo a ver molesta, inmediatamente hago la prueba y hemos llegado a detectar las infecciones cuando apenas van comenzando

These work and are great to have on hand!

These worked great! I started feeling the stinging of yet another UTI, so I got these overnighted to test and sure enough.. the test lit up like a Christmas tree before the time was even up (first photo). I did a round of antibiotics along with taking D-Mannose, and the second photo is confirmation that the infection is gone.

at least you get 3 tests . unfortunately for me I got the same result - positive negative which basically is - unsure results go see a doctor. I got this test to avoid going to a doctor so it was pointless it just delayed me making a appt.
