Kanu SurfFlex Men's Swim Trunks Quick-Dry Bathing Suit Men, 9" Inseam (Regular & Extended Sizes)

Colors were as pretty as the pictures, they are generously sized, the material seems of pretty decent quality and weight, all seams are double stitched except on the slash pockets which are triple stitched. The waist has elastic all of the way around and is secured by a "shoestring" that also goes all the way around and then laces back onto itself in the front where you tie it. There are four pockets, two slash and two cargo. The cargo pockets are fairly roomy, I was able to get an adult sized diving mask and my cellphone into one and close the Velcro secured flap with no issues. The slash pockets are some what questionable. They're wide enough and deep enough but are made of the same mesh that the liner is made of. Might be okay for lip balm or a cellphone but keys would tear them up in short order. I'm 5'9" and 240lb's with a 42 1/2" waist. I ordered a pair in 2X and if I don't have anything in my pockets they'll stay up on their own, barely. When I pull them straight out in front I can stretch them another 6". When I tighten the drawstring they stay secure and I don't worry about "wardrobe malfunctions" diving in or swimming. Despite the waist size they are not overly baggy but comfortably loose. The bottom hem stops just at the top of my knees. From the looks of them they'll last me four or five years, they fit well, and they're comfortable in and out of the pool. If I could deduct a half star for the slash pocket linings I would but it's not enough for a whole one.

Bought these for my husband, he loved them so much we bought another pair in the blue color. Fit great and look good on.

I've used these trunks for a couple of trips to the beach are these Kanu trunks represent a very good value for money option than what you'd find in a department store. Their workmanship is good with clean double-stitched seams and a very comfortable waist elastic with drawstring tiesUSING THEM- The inner sides of the trunk is lined with mesh material that works well to prevent the cloth sticking to your skin when its wet- I felt that the mesh lining is a litter closer fitting than what you'd find, say in a performance short making it feel a bit 'closer'. However this was not uncomfortable in any way, just felt different at first. More importantly, it kept things under control- The material is 100% polyester which makes it a bit crinkly & noisy when you walk- The cloth glides over you skin,hair without feeling prickly or generating static- Dries quickly since the polyester material does not absorb any water- The two side pockets are big enough to hold my 5.5" S7 Edge & thick wallet without issues- It has a stitched faux fly that's just for looks. You'll have to pull the shorts down when you have to take #1- Passes off as a decently casual short with its plaid patternSIZINGI'm 5'10" and weigh about 178 pounds with a 35" waist. The large size of these shorts fit me perfectly. A very nice, comfortable pair of swim trunks. I tested them yesterday in Puget Sound - salt water and they were excellent. Roomy and easy mobility while in the water. Good price, good product! Would recommend.
